Agreed, the whole sequence with the whole village burning around especially when riding towards it on the horse was unreal. And again then leaving on the boat, definitely one of the best looking games I played. Especially the fact the transition from gameplay to cut scenes isnt even noticeable

With the Seattle Tower in the background and the lightning flashing across it was pure flame.

@Ragnar he said all though he wasn't as thorough both the leaders are dead and the island for the most part is destroyed what I didn't understand was since there was no infected on the online why did the scars attack on the first place

the WLF invasion failed, most likely because of Yara killing Isaac, but that doesn't necessarily mean the WLF are done. though the island was mostly destroyed by the warfare so i assume the surviving Seraphites fled to the mainland and either regrouped or scattered - Yara mentioned that if the fighting got too bad that the children would be taken there so.

The scars won cuz Isaac is dead and they sent every wolf to the island and every group of wolves got killed.

Isaac mobilized *everyone* or at least every able-bodied member of the WLF. Isaac being killed pretty much solidified the WLF's losing the battle. I would consider the WLF disbanded. Or whatever the right term is. No leader, no more soldiers. At the very least the remaining WLF would be defenseless, because if they weren't sent to fight they must be sick or too old/weak. The Seraphites definitely won. I assume a handful survived but not nearly enough to rebuild. Or clean up the bodies. So if you think about it, they both lost. Moral of the story: the cycle of violence never ends well.

@@tylercouture216 Yes, and this makes running through a section perfectly particularly hard. Sure, player skills are required, but patience and luck are of immense import too.

I don't know, maybe listen to what they had to say before you let the lustre of the gameplay influence your opinion on the story?

It's a story driven game. Without that it's not a masterpiece. I dint know how it is one. 0? No. But a 10? No. For me, story is everything. And this story had characters doing 180s, huge plot holes and playing someone who tortured a fan favorite AFTER joel saved Abby? That's bad writing. No amount if shiny will fix that. It's a 5/10 for me.

you always get that in a enviroment where you have toxic people that just want to pull a game down just because of the story, or in some cases, the game might be awesome, but the graphics might not be cutting edge, so they give it a 0

If you played on Survival. Basically every arrow that hits you gets stuck in ya. So you would be pulling out a lot.

@@Brandon_Y. Oh gotcha. I went through on the normal difficulty. I didn't really feel like playing through it again, I got sucked in by Bloodborne again haha

@@Brandon_Y. I always play Naughty Dog games on the normal difficulty first for the story with some challenge. Not everyone plays games for the punishing difficulty.

There are many reasons. I could list them. It's one of the best games I've ever played (I play since 1996).

@Ty rapper guy Not really. Abby's backstory, interactions with the WLF plus her adventures with Lev and Yara are longer and have more screentime than Ellie's play through. It's been timed and confirmed that Abby has more screentime than Ellie and Joel combined which is even more fucked up especially since Naughty Dog lied and said this was Ellie's game. Basically Abby's game with Ellie on the cover.

@@rons_seb the problem here is that the real "fanboys" are the one that didn't like it, being unable to understand a gray world. I hear cryings about killing joel, when he absolutely deserve what was coming for him. So the "fanboys" are those that cant understand what evil acts joel did only because they played as him and LOVED HIM. I loved playing as him too, but he was an asshole, and he deserved to die

Almost everyone who played the first game loves joel,Yeah he deserves to die but not in that way. They have choice to give them a much more 'acceptable ' death but no they chose to be unpredictable. So yeah it a well deserve criticism.

Honestly I find the human enemies more threatening since they use strategy and guns. With the infected its all melee for the most part. If you make sound then you just have to fight them off. If you make sound with humans then some sniper on the other side of the map takes you out before you can hide.

I felt that way during the Rat King fight. Amazing boss, but I couldn't help but feel it would've felt more special if Ellie, the lone immune human, was fighting the city's Patient Zero

I actually enjoyed Abby’s kit and gameplay a lot more than Ellie’s. Besides Santa Barbara ofc. Really liked that part

@@007TrickShotz yeah having replayed the game a little bit ago I can see why some people would enjoy it more than Ellie's. Personally though I still prefer Ellie's because of the hit and run tactics, popping in and out of stealth where as Abbie is a lot more head on

The way the fight started though where he screamed “Damn you!” Sent chills down my spine, that was my favourite fight from the game
