This is a prelude to Henry and Sam next week I believe. I enjoyed this episode setting up the story. We had some amazing Joel + Ellie moments in here as well. Some word for word from the game.

The right hand of the leader of the hunter is the voice actor of Tommy in the game. The endcredits song comes from part 2 and is sung by Ashley Johnson (Ellie from the game). Joel's hearing problems were spread throughout the episode. He always sleeps on the bad ear, Ellie often has to repeat herself several times until he understands her, he did not hear the bandit and Henry and Sam in the end also not, because he lay on the good ear in his sleep. These fraction are Hunter. Basically, they are what the fireflys were in Boston, but successful. They won against Fedra. The trigger was the death of the leaders brother by the betrayal of Henry. Henry betrayed her brother to Fedra, they beat him to death. Then there was probably war, which was won. The hunters now wear Fedra equipment. And these people are not evil or good either. They do the same thing as Joel.

Appreciated your opening comments. I was going to post that if you want an identical representation of the game, the game is there to be played. This is a different approach to telling the story, and it should stand-or fall-on its own.

I wouldn't necessarily say hate I guess. Just a lot of people explaining to me why episode 3 was good and how the Bill story line still gets accomplished. Which I already knew but didn't express well

Just watched your reaction. Everyone was getting attacked for showing any dislike of frank/Bill ep. Idk how many times I got homophobic when that wasn't my issue with the episode. It was the lack of interaction between Bill and ellie. Ofc Bill didn't matter much otherwise for the rest of it. Sorry people came at you too. I absolutely loved this episode and only hated how short it was. Ep 3 was my least favorite cause it's the least faithful to the game. To answer your questions. Kathleen is tv only, they are just raiders. There's not really a name otherwise for the groups of people in the game. The mercenary guy is the games voice actor for Tommy. They casted most of the games cast as other characters for the show. If you don't see it, the next episode is airing on Friday because of super bowl Sunday. Which would hurt the ratings if they played it like normal. Idk if you guys do, but the after credits "inside the episode" are nice add on information
