My nightmare, getting dragged out into the ocean in a rip current while photographing surfers...well, it happened. Also, some fun before that, a beach party and some more monkeys.

Creepy man. That would've sucked. Awesome monkeys though! 🐒

I love love LOOOVE the monkey shots! Also that’s so scary that you got caught in the rip tide, its happened to me before as well. But by the time you realize what’s happening you’re already exhausted. Glad you’re okay!

Agreed! You panic and just swim like crazy! Lol thanks!

Swim parallel to the beach until you get out of the tide, and then you can swim in to the beach.

Glad you are ok, yeah the beaches all around Costa Rica are no joke. And a lot of people who visit for vacation don’t consider how strong the Rip tide can be. I always tell people to always a swim / surf buddy to always be on the lookout. 👌🏼

Always gotta go with the buddy system when in currents. So glad you had a surfer near by. Can be scary but you got it figured out . Thankful . Amazing shots buddy.

Great video. It’s also my biggest fear when I’m in the water shooting. Had one encounter with a rip current once on the east coast at puerto viejo. Glad you made it out. Thanks for sharing your experience. And thanks for the photos! Absolutely great work!

@@cape2costa You take epic photos! do you use fuji film simulations?
@cape2costa
@cape2costa Год назад
@@dean6280 not really. Sometimes I do, but I shoot raw so it doesn’t really matter.

That $8m property wasn’t sold, it’s leased for 20-50 years. You cannot purchase ocean front land in Costa Rica.

Can you change shutter speed, iso and aperture on the water housing?

Yup! I got the edge pro so I can. It has basically all controls.
