RIP to both Jalal and Suliman, they were two heavy brothers and originals! I am glad I knew them both and spent some time with them.

50 years of hip hop this year in 2022. This song and album came out in 67 or 68 and really is the birth of hip-hop. Mix this with some old school Gil Scott Heron and you have magic.

My first concert as a child was The Last Poets.

I Been blessed to work with them until their passing. The first to sell a million records without RADIO

along with immense wisdom, these are two of the sweetest brothers I have known in my life. They've both ended their journey here and May Allah make the grave spacious for them and grant them hurried entry to Jannatul Firdous(the best of paradise), Ameen. I miss them terribly.

These Brothers were deep as they get, love them, still rockin them.

I was listening in 1970 at the age of 13. The Message Elevated our Consciousness then and is still Relevant in The Now.

loved this group when I first heard them in the sixties. Still listen to them now at 70 years in 2022. they were truly unique.
