From someone who has met Alex Turner, believe me, he's not arrogant at all at least when dealing with fans, he even told off his security when they tried to keep us from coming closer to him. So yeah, don't judge someone by their stage persona.
+deez135 nuatz yeah he told them to "back off mate, i want to meet them they're not doing anything wrong" and he signed all of our stuff and posed for pictures and everything
anapau_villa thats awesome. He really is a cool guy. Unlike justin bieber who threw away a gift by a fan right infront of her eyes. Such an unappreciative bastard.
Ffs guys he's not arrogant or narcissistic, he's said before that he puts on a persona whilst on stage because being on stage in front of that many people feels unnatural and awkward for him. He's just having fun with his mate, don't take him too seriously
Lyrically Alex Turner just can't be matched at his best. The way he puts verses together is like weaving a perfect tapestry, it has a natural kinda flow.
I love arctic monkeys but I'm not a fan so I don't dig info about them, hell I don't even know their names, I discovered this song today because I was watching a cover channel (MarcosAriel) and this song popped up, was surprised to learn this song was from a band Alex is or was in, idk that yet lol
I listened to this song on the day it was realized, and let me tell you, it's completely atemporal. Im sure you can enjoy it today as much as the week it came out, and if you discover it in 10 years. People who aren't even born yet are gonna listen to this and absolutely love it!
All this stuff about Alex Turner. He knows what he's doing. I remember him saying he used to envy Craig Nicholls from the Vines as he was always blurry eyed and "looked" like a rock-star. He's essentially playing a character. All the videos and stuff with the dancing. It's a parody. It's all part of the act.
There's something about this video that makes it so particularly gorgeous. I've watched this an unhealthy amount of times. Is it just me or does Alex kinda looks like a lion or some kind of angelic feline in this?
It doesn't make sense, why does everyone think that Alex is on drugs? just because he's acting different it doesn't mean that he is, he's being himself and having fun with Miles :)
Finally someone smart haha (I know I'm late af, but I'm glad I found a comment dennying the drug thing because I'm genuiely tired of those « Alex is on drugs, Alex is drunk » type of comments just because he's acting silly.)
