It'll be perfect for my application, I do wedding videos with my r10, I only shoot at 1080 since most of my clients only watches it on their phones, and 1080 is smoother to edit in my laptop, doesn't consume as much space as 4k, and It doesn't overheat the camera, will say goodbye to my r10 soon😢, anyways awesome video man👍🏻
Bought a battery grip for mine, so I've had no battery issues and never experienced overheating while spending 5 hours outside recording at an event using a filmcity rig.
The low light performance in the video and the dynamic range are also not as good as Lumix s5ii. Even micro 4/3 G9ii is also better for video. Rf lens is much more expensive.
good long term review mate. Just recently got to canon and got an R6 and R6ii as both main cameras with 35 and 85 attached for shooting events. Was thinking of getting an r8 for my day to day, travel and as a backup incase one of my 2 cameras crap itself in an event. Canon really did well here by creating a cheaper and lightweight r6ii without the 'pro' features but performs just as well.
I have been shooting with the Eos t3 for a few years now, it was given to me from my sister, and I’ve learned how to use a camera and have had a blast shooting around with it, but now I’m ready to upgrade, I have about 3k saved up which camera and lens would be best choice? I’m just a hobbyist.
That's awesome! The R8 is a phenomenal all around camera! But if you want a better camera, the R6II has a ton of great additions. Below are 2 sets of recommendations, you can mix and mach the lenses and cameras to fine the best option for you! R6II Rig: Camera: amzn.to/4bg0VDX Lens: 85mm amzn.to/3xwbmWc Lens: 50mm amzn.to/4cceUvZ Lens 28mm amzn.to/4c3Zz0o R8 Rig: Camera: amzn.to/3z45NPc Lens: amzn.to/4bcxAdQ (Renewed) Lens: amzn.to/3VKq19D (Not Renewed, but over budget) If you have any other questions, let me know!
If you could only choose a camera based on budget, which would you choose Canon R6 II Canon R7 or Canon R 8 (I have many Canon EF lenses from the L series. Greetings from Spain.
