I could listen to this all day. As much as I loved the Everly Brothers singing together, love Phil’s soft voice on this solo just as much. Rest in peace dear Phil.
I really feel sad that Phil Everly is no longer with us But the Everlys have left so many wonderful songs I never get fed up listening to them Wonderful but also sad
Love Phil's version so much, it's beautiful & with so much passion & emotion. Just listened to the Hollies Version....does absolutely nothing for me, no soul, no emotion, no tune, just a tinny sound. RIP my dear Phil.Miss you!
Good to hear Phil singing alone as it would be to hear Don by himself. Great either way. They, were the BEST. Grew up with their music. Fifties and sixties. Two decades never to be repeated.
Stil love you Phil, never forget you. Phil you are in my heart since I was 13 years ,still love you , see you in Heaven ,thank for all that beautyfull feelings you give me in all those years with your music.🎸🎸🎸🎸❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Have always loved both The Everly Brothers but have to admit Phil always had that little edge over Don was so upset when he passed but still have his music to listen to so he will always be us all
This is my first time hearing one of the Everly Brothers sing solo. I love this song and I loved Don and Phil. What happened between them is really sad, but I guess it happens a lot in the music business. Rest In Peace, Phil.
Cathrine Colwell I totally agree. His voice has something special. Listen to another solo song : The words in her eyes. Patiently and The words in her eyes are my favorites Phil's solo songs.
Damn it, I was raised by my late mom on the Everly music. Now they're both gone to be with the Almighty. Thanks to RU-vid I can still enjoy the Boys. Getting old does suck in a way.
Oh and I forgot to say, my late great mom loved the Brothers E and on many occasion, played their LP, "A Date with the Everly Brothers." So I grew up loving this sound. The rest is history. GOD I miss her and them.
Read a article that said Phil signed away rights to Cathys Clown to Don. Now His 2 sons and Patty are suing Don to get half of profits. Hmmm I hate when families have to fight after someones death. been in one of these post death fights. Its awful. Just grieve and not be greedy. Sad Don is not close to his brothers only sons.
