Dave Umahi and Hope Uzodinjo belong to the same party, APC, but sad enough the two are from different planet , Dave has vision whilst the Hope Uzodinjo has no vision , all he is concern is power and Imo state money.. Ebonyi state GDP is half that of Imo state but if you look at achievement you will think its the opposite. Wouldn't it be nice if owerri look clean and organize like this? Next step Dave need to do is attract real estate investors to bust infrastructure development. What a visionary governor.
We are on the rise We shall get there Hoping the next governor will surpass the present administration We don't need limitations in Ebonyi We shall keep improving in every remifications
Abakaliki is gradually living up to her name, fast looking like a developed European city l must say.All thanks to the governor, the only governor in Nigeria that actually grasp the concept of governance. All this educated illiterate called governors in Nigeria need educating, someone to explain government 101, the basic, elementary principle of government to them, because l honestly don't think or believe they have a clue. Thanks mate.
You don’t have to compare to Europe or Western cities. See the uniqueness and appreciate it. Does everything has to be westernised? What is wrong with you Nigerians and always comparing things. Why don’t you compare it with Ghanaian cities which has the same geography and climate? Why must you go to Europe? The ignorance. Colonial debris?
@@danny9642 Everything has to be compared to what l know, you are assuming l live in Africa, don't you? I don't know any Ghanaian city, and l don't think it makes sense comparing to below standard, if you know what l mean. I've never been to ghana, l know mostly European cities that's why? Moreover European cities are the standard because it a first world country for a reason, the standard of the cities, better than anything in Ghana, l'm afraid to say. lt's a fact! Thank you.
@@suntanglory Europe is not the standard for anything. Europe is the standard for Europe. Not for Africa and definitely not for Asia or North America. Hence you can only compare African cities to other African cities with a higher level of development and not Europe. So if you haven’t visited any other African cities, you can just stop at admiring the development in Abakaliki without comparing it because there are many cities in Africa that are better, more developed than many European cities as well. Every city or geography has its uniqueness and problems hence you can’t compare. Europe has snow, most African cities do not snow, Africa is hot all year round and it rains, most European cities are not hot all year round and rain is only in certain European countries. This has nothing to do with where you live but for us to stop this bullshit of always thinking western standard is benchmark for everything - beauty, development, democracy, advertisement, healthcare, food, language and culture and religion when in reality it is not. Western standard has it merits and it flaws but is not a global standard rather a standard in itself. Europe is unique and different to Africa or Asia. Yes there are many similarities but differences are enormous hence you cannot compare. Can you compare Finland cities which snows all year to Abakaliki for example were it probably is hot all year. No! So stop with the bullshit and be confident in Africa’s uniqueness and her development and challenges without the comparison. It took Europe centuries to get to where she is today and many countries on that continent did it by plundering other countries. You should be proud that despite our challenges it is taking us decades to be able to meet and exceed the so called European standards. Truth hurts!
@@danny9642 l don't get why you are attacking me, l made a comment based on what l know. I said Abakaliki is looking like a European city gradually because that's what l know. Why the attack? If you have a problem with that deal with it.l can not compare it to other African cites, yes, l have been to Cairo but l don't think Abakaliki looks like Cairo in any form or shape but rather shaping up like some cities l know in Europe, especially here in England. What is wrong with that? Please deal with that hate, don't let it consume you man. If Europe is not a standard why is half of Nigerians in Europe and North America? If we have their standard do you think Nigerians would be here? Be honest to yourself atleast for once. Thank you.
I think what he means is that Ebonyi state and a few states were the last states created from existing states in 1996 and as such, Abakaliki, Ado-Ekiti and a few other state capitals are the latest capitals in Nigeria as no other capital as emerged since 1996.
@@AfamOrji In that case there were 13 states that were created in 1996 alone so yes technically you're right but the 'latest capital' name can go to any of those cities I guess its not too serious though I was just wondering
@@AfamOrji yeah my bad you’re right, I didn’t take into account that Enugu, Ondo, Sokoto and Bauchi existed before and had new states break away from them, I was wrong I’m still slightly confused at the choice of title though
Terrorists have captured almost the surrounding states of this capital city . Before 2023 this beautiful city will fall into the hands of Terrorists like Afghanistan . Divide this country Nigeria let all regions go and manage their security and development
The school of medical sciences alone is one of a kind in the entire west African subregion, if that is not a real development, I wonder what it is. With a standard airport underway, sporting center, and a huge shopping mall which is also one of a kind within the southeast region, well structured road network and one of the biggest international markets created in that region.....what do you call these? Your negativity may drive you to an early grave man
