The UK used to be world leaders in quite a few things. Now we are down to three. Baked bean consumption. Sports you can do with a pint in your hand and panel shows. And imo this particular panel show is the best of the best.

The first clip when he's miming... It's just a solid reminder of what a brilliant comedian he is. So talented, I don't think he'd suit any role better than being what and who he is now. Love him
They give Lee such ridiculous stories. I was 100% certain he had a duplicate Rubik's cube under the desk and would swap them to make it appear he had solved it. It was even better when he didn't.
I came here to say that, as brilliant as Lee can be, I always kind of deflate spiritually every time he gets asked to tell a story, because his cards are almost always so batshit crazy that everyone knows they're not true, and their function is just to make us laugh. And then this compilation starts off with the mime story, which is amazing.
I absolutely love this show, so very clever in its inception, but Lee Mack; Rob Brydon and David Mitchel make this show a billion times funnier than I imagine the producers could have ever imagined. My wife and I watch this and are in literal stitches..Brilliant!!
Finally!! The mime story. This is the only bit I keep playing in my head then go look it up. Not that it's my favorite, but every time I see it, I laugh like I'm seeing it for the first time.
I haven’t seen the mime one before. Lee is hilarious. I ❤ the show and how Rob and David and Lee interact and the other guests especially some of the regulars. Good cleanish humour 😂

That would have been hilarious, but the premise of the show is that the person reading the card has no idea what's on the card. So they have to be very quick witted either way to either make the other team believe their story or find a way to bluff them into thinking you're lying. Rob, David and Lee work well off each other which makes the guests relaxed and the show so enjoyable

This is a lot of fun but I wish the producers would push for using props and role playing re-enactments a bit less. To me, the verbal sparring is the best part
15:30 here Rob says “everyone is on tender hooks” but how an intelligent person like him could say tender hooks when it is tenter hooks and how David let it slip by is beyond me.
Well a stool is 6 pounds or so. How much is 6 pounds of a cow worth? But 'worth' may not monetary cost either. Having a stool makes getting milk every day much easier but 6 pounds of beef will only feed you for a few days.
The highest value in $/pound I could find for cattle at livestock auctions currently happening in British Columbia is $1.25/lb. The 6 pounds of stool (that toddwittie4421 estimates above) would be worth $7.50 if made of cow. Assuming Lee didn't already have a milking stool he'd be paying current value for his stool, although it seems the stool's cost was included with the price of Lee's cow). But the question was posed in general terms, so Lee's case is only one example of those terms. In which case, a stool made for Lee would cost tens of £, given my 5 second search of milking stool for sale on Google and taking the first UK based offering I found. Thus the stool is worth much more than stool-equivalent cow. In any case, I'd say a stool worth as little as $7.51 (CDN/£4.22) that could withstand the abuse Lee heaped on it was a bargin.
I don’t know how many of these were made but even when I realize it’s one I have already seen, I still watch it again. Love this gang on the show. I too wish it was showing in 🇺🇸 USA!
We need the newer seasons on RU-vid! As another American in the comments I feel like this kind of comedy is missing in the US now. We used to have a lot of panels shows e.g. Match Game but I really love seeing other countries’ humor and take on things so this is all more than enough 😂
I can't believe no one asked Lee if he drinks the milk raw or if he pasteurises it at home (which apparently you can do by heating it to 63°C for at least 30 minutes or 72°C for at least 15 seconds).
I think a problem is after so many years both Lee and David have run out of true stories to tell. Plus another problem is they are good friends in real life so anything new happens they probably already know about it
Lee could make an amazing comedy series in the style of Mr Bean, just entirely physical comedy and mime. It would be a thousand times better than his dreadful sitcom.
The Rubik’s cube lie was so easy because he was making way too many moves for it to be real. If he’s doing that many turns that quickly it would have been solved in under 10 seconds not close to a minute. He also keep having to check if he was close enough to a minute to be believable.
Problem is his stories are always too ridiculous to be even possibly near being true . The writers are not very good and spoil the whole concept even though he is still funny. Would be much better if there was a slight possibility of a truth now and then.
