I enjoyed watching you have fun in LCN's yard. I chuckled when I saw you mowing in several shots, and Allyn's in the background pacing nervously like a newborn's father with a relative holding his baby for the first time. Nervous... I couldn't tell if it was lawn preservation, or observation.

St. Augustine grass is ahhhmazing. First time ever I went to step on some with bare feet I thought it would feel really stiff and sort of jab at my soles. It's the complete opposite of that. It's like walking on a soft, comfy green cloud!

I would love to have been in your shoes Mr Ward! LCN has really brought passion back into my life. He is a full on enjoying life kinda guy and that passion is infectious and I have brought some of that to my own life. I was really stuck in the rut of the daily grind and then I found LCN and now I am passionate about my lawn! But not only that it has carried over to other aspects of my life. Basically what I’m saying is that opportunity that you shared with LCN would be coveted by more people than you can fathom so treasure it my friend!

Yeah I got a Bermuda lawn seeded it with tall fescue 39 this spring because I had no idea what kind of lawn I had... now that the crab grass is slowing down I can see the tall fescue was able to germinate and survive the long hot summer... cant wait to reseed more fescue into my Bermuda lawn. I like the contrast between the two grass types

Great video Connor, looks like you had fun mowing ,fishing ,going to ballgame and hanging out with the nut. The heat and humidity would have been a bit of a change from your climate back home in Utah. You freed a flamingo from the garage that could be only a good thing.😁👍👍

Having grown up in Florida, I’ve always despised St Augustine grass. It looks nice from a distance but It’s thick and mushy which makes it difficult to walk/run on. It’s kind of like trying to jog in soft sand, you’re feet can’t get a solid grip. As a kid, I remember that we would never want to play on it (probably a bonus for the homeowner). It’s also invasive. My mom’s neighbor got St Augustine and it took over part of her lawn. She doesn’t like it either but I know that a lot of “lawn care nuts” love the stuff. Many of the most beautiful lawns in Florida have St. Augustine grass.

Bermuda is crazy stuff! I've seen it grow through a crack around a basement window on the northeast side of a house, down the wall (~7 ft.), then across the floor(~20-25 ft.) & then back up to another window on the south side. So at least 40 ft., crazy!

Greatness! Here in Texas I’ve got a great St.Augustine lawn but I also have shade and I keep it about 2 inches tall. It gets to hot for blue grass. I enjoy your videos my friend.

Live a bit south of LCN and mowed about Noon on the 29th with a Timemaster. Wasn't quite as hot as last month, but still hot & humid. Catching that grass adds about 1/2 hour to the time it takes to mow. Oh yeah, the USPS is doing deliveries for Amazon on Sunday, not regular deliveries. They have a warehouse about 1/2 hour north of LCN, too.

Our USPS in MN delivers packages on Sunday's. They don't deliver regular letter mail, but they do deliver packages.
