I really enjoy this special. I don't know why but I find that Christmas, horror and comedy go together really well.

You didn't show the onion joke! Stella mentions her friend was hypnotised into eating an onion every time she hears Neil Sedaka. Later on the woman is in the back eating an onion in a trance while "Breakin' Up Is Hard To Do" plays.

The lack of an old fashioned laughter track in this episode and series 3 really effects it. But i still enjoy them. It was good how they kinda kept the continuity with the ending with the newest special episodes

Inside No. 9 is even better. The first ep, Sardines, is rather slow. However, the second ep, A Quiet Night In, is excellent.

I live in Hull UK , where Reese is from and Charlie and Stella HULL are based on real people who went in his local pub, The Crooked Billet... I think they even mention it in one episode that they are going to The Crooked Billet. I was also on the same Restart course as him too and I can assure you Pauline is real too lol !! I think most of their characters are based on real people.

Tubbs was based on an old lady who owned a shop in Brighton, who judged the league when they went in after one if their shows. "I have a husband you know" is a direct quote
