I dont know whether or not Mark used community when he "leaked his number" He wasn't using it to text people and while he could that's not why he wanted it. He used it / a similar company to get people's zip codes. Now that wasn't for sketchy advertising purposes. It was because he needed a way to announce to people nearby his filming location so he could get background dancers and fill in characters. This prevented others outside the area to fly in just to meet him. He could get serious people to help out. It doesn't send me spam. If he sends out a message to everyone it has reason. All his messages were updates on projects and thank yous to the community. He doesn't use that number anymore, but that was my first experience. And as much as I live marshmello's music his number was an absolute scam. Just to spam me and advertise his merch.

This is a late comment but I wanted to say it anyways... I honestly loved Marshmellows (Sorry if I spelled it wrong) music and when I saw the video about him leaking his phone number, I got so excited and I texted him as soon as I could I obviously said Hi and then I mentioned and thanked him because he helped me through some bad times in my life with his awsome music...When I got the lawyer message thing I was confused and I clicked the link that was followed by that message I quickly realized it was a scam and I was disappointed because I was stupid enough to really believe Marshmellow gave out his phone number. Sorry for being stupid guys and commenting like a month later I just wanted to share this.
