@@RIFLQ actually inuyasha not knowing the word proposal becomes part of the plot in one of the Japanese drama cd’s! It’s the one called Asatte, and he mishears propose (puropozu) as black monk (kuro bozu) and thinks its a demon he has to beat before getting married. I think it’s just a joke about the fact that the concept of a proposal as we know it didn’t exist in feudal japan, hence inuyasha not knowing the word for it

The funny thing about that episode is of all the stories miroku was really the only one who didn't upset kirrara. Inuyasha practiced his sword skills on her and gave her a bald spot. Kagome kept her waiting and forgot about the treats she promised. All miroku did was have her help him get in and out of trouble. It was less about what he did to her and more about his personality in general

Hey, don’t worry about the parts that weren’t technically Miroku. It may have been Hachi impersonating him, but like Shippo said “How he acted wasn’t any different from how Miroku would’ve acted.” So it doesn’t really make any difference.
