The Legacy of Invasion of Chaos! 

It's crazy how seeing the names of these sets bring back memories I didn't even realize were locked away. I can remember still collecting cards at this point, even if I knew nothing about the competitive meta at this time. That's where this channel comes in!

IOC was such a monumental set and this was a great breakdown of why! I'm excited to do a deep dive into it myself soon, because it really does help out so many different strategies as you mentioned. Also don't worry, I always thought Berserk Gorilla was red too lol

It's insane the level of power creep we got in easily summonable high-power monsters in IoC. Even today in 2023 people who know the history of the game still know how crazy IoC was for its time

After I moved on from Earth Beatdown, Levia-Dragon / Legendary Ocean became my deck. I loved the -1 Level effect of Legendary Ocean, allowing Lv4 monsters to get under Gravity Bind & Area B and continue to attack. Also, allowing Lv5 monsters to be summoned as Lv4. On a side note, none of us knew about the "error printing" of Neo Daedalus, so I got away with that totally busted effect for a while. 😅😅😅😅

Favorite card from IOC has to be Smashing Ground. I'm a sucker for good one for one removal and that was premium for a long time

Nice to see some appreciation for cards from this set which aren't the Chaos ones (awesome as they were). Especially Gigantes - me and my girlfriend did a progression series using physical (Korean) cards and Gigantes ended up being meta-warping. I actually ended up playing awful cards like The Unfriendly Amazon to help facilitate it
