It has been almost 6 months and I remember that day so well, i was in my camp, we had to wake up at 6 am to go for a run. Before that i had heard something about him, but i didnt know it yet. After that i checked discord and i saw "goodbye technoblade o7" and i was confused untill i had seen the video. I didnt want to cry i just looked at my phone in shock of what just had happend. After i realised he was dead, i checked twitter and for once it was so wholesome... Goodbye offically.

Its been 1 whole fucking year, Alex. We miss you so much, there will never be words to describe how much. Rest in peace. Technoblade never dies. 👑

I have never cried in sadness in the pass 6 years, but today this streak is broken, I wish I did not have a reason. Techno is both a legend, and the sadest story I have seen play out. He inspied millions, but at the end of everything the living legend becomes the legend.

You can hear the passion and the pain in your voice, Evan. Thank you for this. And rest in peace techno. You will always be remembered

Fun fact: even though Techno is gone, he managed to gain like 3 million subscribers post mortem. Man is still farming subs even in Heaven.

The worst part about his cancer diagnosis is also consequently the best part: Techno's positivity. He spent four videos and a few livestreams being positive about how things were going with his unique style of humor and wit. It wasn't until the end of the final video that I learned it was Stage 4 Sarcoma. He never once stated how truly horrible it was. True, he mentioned almost amputating his right arm below the elbow, but the way he had said it, the way he had reacted to it, made it seem like he was doing so much better. The worst part about cancer is how it takes people. Once you think you're out of the woods, it suddenly decides that mutually assured distruction is the way to go. Everyone thinks you're fine, then suddenly, you're gone and everyone is shocked. Its unexpected. Its heinous. Its the worst. I think if people knew exactly how serious it was from the start, people would have been much more forthcoming with how they handled the situation. Stage 4 Cancer? That's the worst kind. Damn near unbeatable. Yet he tried to fight it and nearly succeeded. Techno, thank you for trying to protect your community from the info. The anxiety and stress involved with knowing something so serious definitely would have carried a much worse impact on the internet. However, you used your humor and wit to lessen the damage and instead of breaking the hearts of many, you rallied the population of a small country to donate more worth than Grerce's GDP to helping millions of others with surviving their own ordeals. Thank you Technoblade. You will be missed.

This will most likely never see the light of day because I'm kinda a nobody, but I just wanted to say that I love your work, and have been watching you on a different account for a long time. This was touching. When I heard the news of techno, I cried for an hour straight. Let me clarify, I'm a 16 year old male that doesn't feel much. But today I almost cried again. And however odd this may seem, thank you. TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES!!!!!

Honestly the worst part about his passing to me was I was never ever worried. My father died a few years ago from cancer but it was too late to even attempt chemotherepy, so since it was caught early enough that he could tell us about it I thought everything was going to be alright, him dying never even occured to me. So when the video when up, I broke down. Like this wasn't possible, it was found out, how did this happen? Rest in Peace Technoblade. Thanks for everything you did.

At 4:45, when he says chills down everyone's spine, he wasn't joking. I felt the chills go down the first time I heard it, and I felt them again. I swear on my life that my yearbook quote will be, "Technoblade never dies," and that I will show my children the man who changed my life, without ever being in the same room as me. Thank you Technoblade. May you continue to haunt the nightmares of your previous opponents. I.E. anyone he fought in Minecraft Monday, MCC, Squid_kid from the potato war, the people from the Dream smp, and any hackers he encountered during his adventures.

i still remember watching that first video when he told everyone he had cancer. he dropped it so casually, so light hearted, I never saw it as that severe, i never thought it was that bad, that it would get worse, he played it down so much so people wouldnt worry

I came back watching this. 1 year later it's hard to believe it's been a year.A year without his comedic humor, his skillful plays and his amazing personality. As you said how he helped you in your channel he helped me so much. And even though I didn't know him he didn't know me I continue to cry watching this video, hearing about his death. Legends don't die. And I will continue to pay my respects to him and thank him for all he has done for me, he was helping me to stay alive and know he is gone

i remember the day i found out so well. i had just woken up, and the first thing i do was look at my phone, and see a text from my mother. it's a link to a video titled "so long nerds" by technoblade. i watch the video waiting for techno to come in and say "SIKE LOSERS" or something... anything. I go downstairs and see my mother, who's never watched youtube before, much less techno, crying. that entire day, week, month. i could do nothing but sit at my desk in disbelief. june 30th shall now be called "the day happiness cried." He made PVP In minecraft mainstream along with others and started a campaign against cancer. He planted the seeds in a garden he won’t get to see. Now it’s our job to make sure those seeds grow.

Second time I’ve ever cried at minecraft, and the first was when I watched his video announcing his death. He will never be forgotten, a true legend.

Remember him for what he was, How kind and loving of a brother he is, A great friend and my favorite youtuber, his great comedic timing and the bravery he has everytime he fights. Remember his Legacy and grieve you must not.

This man had the courage to look death in the eyes and laugh, he has achieved things that many may never achieve. As long as his legacy stands Alex never truly dies. His personal battle with this wicked disease wasn't a loss, but a draw.

I remember that I was at my aunt's house when I was chanting "one of us" in chat on that stream, in a darn new years party as techno reached the goal and I remember the first time in eight years I cried, something I haven't been able to do even though I tried, july first when I was in school, I got the notification and I cried so much and I remember replaying his anarchy speech on the overthrowing Dante video, and I replayed it many, many times because it was so iconic And there is just so much more I'll never forget I'm incredibly late for this video, but, o7 blood for the blood god, and potatoes for the potato king

Alex's dad is one of the bravest man ever He sat there, and was able to continue reading out what his son wrote 8 hrs before he died

The internet is a divided place, but sometimes it can join with a united voice in challenging times. I think we had seen that hours after the announcement and it goes to show how much influence he had in the community. RIP Technoblade, my favourite creator.

The silver lining to all of this is that Alexander has guaranteed himself a legacy that will never be corrupted. He left on such a high note with so many achievements and so few if no faults at all to recount that he will be remembered not only as a great person, but an ideal to live up to. His strength and kindness being a benchmark for all to aspire to as the world keeps turning without him. Alexander was a good man, and it's a tragedy that he is no longer with us. But he left us with a gift that will outlive us all: a name, and idea, and that which cannot die. Technoblade.

I can’t believe a year has passed. I hadn’t been watching him for very long - sadly I only discovered him through the Dream SMP so I was only a viewer for around 2 years by the time he passed - but he was a huge inspiration to me in every facet. I adored him and his content and when he died it just left me feeling depressed. Now it’s been over a year and I’m still sad and watch a video of his every day just to hear his voice, but seeing things like this helps me a lot 🫶🫶
