Always love seeing Creepy in the reviews I still to this day don't see why people don't like him I love his sarcastic tone and hes just an all around great guy. Another awesome review Decker thanks man.
toby4700 I said it before on a different comment on this video but yeah I’ve never seen anyone complain on RU-vid I think he might be referring to viewers on different sites he uploads to
Happy to see you and creepy team up again for a review! i cant even remember the last you two did together, please do more reviews together, i love them :D
I'd love to see Decker review Big Trouble In Little China, along with In The Mouth Of Madness and Prince Of Darkness! But especially Big Trouble In Little China!
@@diegobareno5820 Doug is a snob. He thinks he's some kind of film making genius. That's on top of how he treats people under the "Channel Awesome" umbrella.
To be fair about all the Kung-Fu "Masters" in the movie, it is supposed to take place in Foshan, and at that time Foshan was indeed a haven for Kung-Fu schools.
It’s crazy how I just saw this movie and I’m looking at reviews and this Haines didn’t to be really recent? I’m glad people actually respect old and classic movies like these! 💙
Truly what I need this monday: A few minutes in and we get mr creepy, the best reviews is with creepy and decker! :D Missed seeing him in your videos, been a while, now to watch the rest of the craziness you two will do and metal music and what not, and yes Decker is better than nostalgia critic!
judgedeath3 yeah. I’m a big fan of NC’s older stuff I mean who doesn’t love all his crossovers with guys like AVGN and cinema snob and I mean I love Malcom dude seems so chill and probably a great guy, but NC just gets wayyyyy too caught up in doing skits and long running scenes instead of just sticking to talking about the movie and it really takes you out of the reviews
@@BionicleGio22210 just having a few beers being silly man. I like them both enough to keep watching. but there does seem to be a kind of inside joke Brewing between who owns the show.
I love that a creepy Decker crossover always happens every summer now Summer of marvel could be your next summer although I recommend summwr of Texas chainsaw massacre Also is that power rangers ending from your guys Atlantic rim going to come back
Had to pause when your pup did a double take and boned the fuck out thinking you were gonna fall. Could not stop laughing. “Slipped one in on me.” As Archer would say, phrasing!
Fun fact, drunken master style fighters are actually never drunk since it takes so much concentration to move and act like they do. They have to be sober enough to pretend to be drunk. I love this
Honestly don't know who dislikes Creepy. Also Decker you have now given us Marvel fans hope. I would hope that the winter special you sometimes do will be Marvel now. After all not even you can resist AC/DC,explosions,women in tight leather suits, and the pureness that is Tom Holland
I was like “I love this movie! I watch it all the time!” Then after watching them review the whole thing I remembered “Oh yeah. I forgot I pretty much only ever watch the fight scenes.” 🤷🏾♂️
I truly love your relationship/friendship/collaborations with long hair creepy guy...you guys truly edify each other with some super sai on sp? Lol like energy...and crack me up!
David Brown dude same! This was the first Jackie Chan movie I ever watched and idk I was like 5 or 6 and I remember telling my grandparents that Jackie was the best and could even beat Bruce Lee and they just laughed me off like “dumb kid” lmao
Been subbed for a while now I'm honestly surprised more people aren't subscribed. You make damn good content! Your content makes me feel content. Wakka wakka.
also so there's more substance to my comment 2 random facts 1. Legs (the final fight guy) was Jackie's bodyguard I've heard 2. When he fell on the coals (in the final fight) he burned his hands bad so (NO SHOCKER) they had to give him time to recover from that
One of my faves! I've seen it a dozen times and never gets old. The fight scenes are amazing, drunk or not, and Anita Mui, rest her soul, was incredible!
Amazing thumbnail. You might want to lightly curtail the difficulty level of those intros though so as to avoid crippling injury. Even Jackie Chan has of late utilized a stunt person.
why the boo's at Creepy? I like Creepy. I like the way he creeps, Yeeees Creepy, Creep all over me. I love your creeping, you creep, Mr. Creepy-Sempai.
Im surprised they havent mentioned that one of the british henchmen (or Legs comrade in arms) is played by Ho Sung Pak of Mortal Kombat 1 & 2 video game as Liu Kang
Hell yeah! The very first Jackie Chan movie I ever watched, I had it on VHS when I was 6 and I played it so much the tape went bad. This movie made me a Jackie fan and around this time Jackie Chan adventures came on tv. All the Jackie I needed 😂
The way you say your name that quick in your intros makes the subtitles jump from "I'm Decker Shado" to "I'm Tiger Shadow" to "I'm N-word Shallow" lmao PHONETICS MAN
As I pointed out in my SUPERCOP comments, Hong Kong films of this era tend to either overtly or metaphorically reflect the anxiety over the 1997 Handover back to Mainland China. DRUNKEN MASTER 2 is among the most blatant in the original Cantonese version. The Stolen Chop plot includes an expository speech by Master Fu ranting against Chinese traitors who sell their nation's cultural treasures to foreigners. This is clearly directed to the thousands of Hong Kong bourgeois and intelligentsia who migrated (or planned to) other parts of the British Commonwealth. Nearly every aspect of the movie ties into that rant. Wong Fei-Hung decides to break up the smuggling operation so that his unborn sibling will grow up as part of a China with an intact historical legacy. The chop itself is a symbol of Chinese sovereignty and keeping it out of British hands is an allegorical statement referring to Hong Kong. The mad rush of people trying to board the train are refugees fleeing warlords fighting for control of China during the anarchic Nationalist period. The scene parodies the aforementioned emigration of Hong Kong bourgeois in the 1980-90s. Even the end fight in this film is highly symbolic: a westernized kickboxing capitalist versus a traditionally dressed Wong Fei-Hung using Chinese kung fu.
I would love a Marvel review series, that would be entertaining to watch you and creepy dissect and go slightly mad watching nothing but super heroes for 15 or so movies
I remember wincing at the outtakes of this movie. Usually the outtakes are funny, but in this, it's like the hurt channels itself to you. Also, please review the Bollywood Jackie Chan movie. :D
I also like this is one of the few kung fu movies from the 90's based on the Boxer Rebellion of 1880 something, a time. It doesn't get much respect in movies. If opium wasn't a thing, China probably would have beat the crap out of Britain
As a blackbelt in both Ryukyuu no justu (Okinawan martial arts) and a blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do. I can confirm that trying complex martial arts techniques while inebriated is always a bad idea trust me I have tried and it never ends well.
In the Intro I already saw you falling down and breaking atleast an ellbow if not your neck. Then I remembered this is youtube, and you would need to be alive to upload the vid :P
@Decker Shado, "Love ur reviews, looking forward to your take on:Berry Gordy's 'The Last Dragon/The Last Dragon'(1985), whether you love it or hate it, it's going too be a gut busting experience watching you rip it apart. SO UNTIL THEN, TAKE CARE🙋🏿♀️🙋🏿♀️🙋🏿♀️🙋🏿♀️🙋🏿♀️🙋🏿♀️🙋🏿♀️🙋🏿♀️🙋🏿♀️🙋🏿♀️!!!"
honestly fratboy as an amercanized version of the drunken master or a super hero parody would be a pretty great name comedic and gets the point mostly across.
So.. Decker plays for that side. Did not know. I am sure there is at least someone disappointed out there somewhere.. and a few who are probably happy.. I think?
Fun fact, Anita Moi was one of Jacky's leading ladies in his early charier. To see her get demoted as her step mom is a little sad though, but no body would have been able to top her performance in this movie.
