I mean if you look at it the beginning animation its kind of the same thing as a portrait honestly I'm just they glad added something portrait like though because in my opinion the S crafts in Kuro 1 while flashy felt like just a slightly more cinematic craft it felt like they were missing something basically.
@@RoughNeck777 Kuro 1 released almost 2 whole years ago and I don't think we got a solid confirmation yet. Probably they will announce something by the end of 2023, but the most optimistic bet would be Q3-4 of 2024. Heck, I reckon some mad lads could start learning Japanese right about one and they would still manage to complete the game before the western release. I'm not even talking about Crimson Sin, mind you.
0:06 - I love how we’ve seen this almost frame for frame with Magilou’s mystic arte in Tales of Berseria, and I believe Flynn in Vesperia? Or was it someone else?
It's awesome, yet it's the most non-canon S-Craft of all of them (all of them aren't canon): Harwood is a normal human who uses intelligence and chemical weapons, how is he able to do stuff like that?
@@kiyone888 I think Harwood is the Trails equivalent of Joker from Batman, one who is normal, has no powers, but is a total psycho mastermind with no sense of morality whatsoever who is skilled in planning, doesn't stop for anything, and overall is more of a mental threat rather than a physical one. To act as a physical threat there are Zolga, the Garden Master, Iks and Jolda who obey to him. Harwood's main power lies in his brain and his manipulation skills, but if he actually fought, he'd have to rely on his chemical weapons to cause mass destruction, otherwise fellow Ouroboros such as Renne, Walter, Vita or Mariabell would utterly solo him.
@@shunyatoshiki2351 Anguis are more the minds of Ouroboros, while Enforcers are specialized in fighting. You do not necessarily need fighting capabilities to be an Anguis (even if Arianrhod and Vita who can fight well are Anguis too) while it's Enforcers who have fighting as their main role. Harwood is an Anguis and is competent enough for his role, but he's absolutely not a fighter and completely without supernatural powers aside from using chemical weapons, and this makes his clearly time magic-based S-Craft one of the most non-canon S-Crafts ever seen in the series. That would be as if the Joker randomly pulls out Thanos' glove and destroys half of the universe.
2:52 - I think it is possible that Ellroy is the Grendel-Zolga, if you look at his S-craft before closing the big door It is somehow similar to reddish Grendel
@@Desumundo bermotti appears as am apparently unassuming camp lesbian barman in Kuro 1. And he shows interest in Harwood. I just think there 's more to it than mere lesbianism, I personally took it as foreshadowing that bermotti got mental conditioning from jarwwod just as Iks and Jolda did. Also, Harwood was on the scene of Dingo's death before the police even arrived. How did he know about it? I think. It's because Harwood himself planned it because he found out Dingo knew something he shouldn't: since Dingo really trusts bermotti, whose bar he's a regular in and who he considers a friend, Harwood could have, through bermotti, told dingo to go to Creil the exact moment Gerard would test a nuke there, and secretly headed there to watch the explosion in order to study how a nuke works.
Remember: S-Crafts are so absurd because they're non-canon. Harwood especially is a normal human who uses his intelligence, strategy and internationally-prohibited biological and chemical weapons. How is he supposed to summon that gate emanating dark energy? He can't.
@@wjo9272 But those S-Crafts are clearly overblown, Rene's one shows him getting a helicopter: how is he supposed to use it when fighting indoors? And also, Harwood is like Joker from Batman, a normal human who is a psycho skilled in manipulation and without any sense of morality, his main power is his brain and the mass destruction chemical weapons he uses that no one else dares to use, so him using such a clearly supernatural S-Craft is absolutely non-canon.
Honestly this is just very subjective, in my eyes Vans new S-Craft is like 100 times better, the punching in Vandalize Raid looked odd and stiff not dynamic at all, and the climax was just a bad Giga Slash. In his new S-Craft its less overall animation, but the animations are much smoother the close up to the glowing eye is very cool and the climax is very impactful
This is all stuff we’ve seen already except for Lucrezia’s (& maybe Nadia’s but I can’t remember), and even with Lucrezia we saw a screenshot of the glimpse of her face mid-attack.
his new S-craft is literally him using his demonic powers and It looks amazing, his old S-craft will be in the game too. He will probably have 2 S-crafts: Vandalize raid and the new one
