I think it's mentioned somewhere that the Grallsritter goes up to 12 actually. Somewhere, I don't know WHERE, is mentioned that there's 12 markings working in the world at the same point, and when some of them dies and the seat is freed, another one with the exact same marking will eventually arise again. So each specific Stigma bellongs to a number in the grallsritter.

I can see Daybreak (Kuro) having the theme of progression. But what I'm also curious about is another theme. With Erebonia, it means "land of darkness" in greek. It talked about how Rean and his friends are the flash that cuts the darkness. With Calvard, it means "land of lies" in latin. Theme is probably going to be about what are truths and lies. It reminds about the Calvard revolution in Azure that talked how it was implied to be much more bloodier than history books claim otherwise. The fact that the Calvard president knows shows that there are probably more people who know about the "return to nothingness" end mentioned in Cold Steel IV and who knows how many are trying to prevent it. Interesting to see what kind of conflicts this will create. My speculation about Ishmelga is that it somehow knew about it since its creation and planned for 1200 years to become the Great One and become a god because it believed it could save humanity even if the cost is 99% of humanity wiped out. It probably thought this would be much better than the "return to nothingness" end. Ishmelga Rean tried to continue the plan by using Elysium instead. Also, another speculation among some fans is that this MTSC has some relation to the clan that watched over the Water Septerrion and that they had some skills that can communicate with others from long distance. That's how they got Gramheart to communicate with the Grandmaster after paying them a lot of mira.

Gotta love Renne's new voice for this game. I wish they patched the CS IV voice too. I know what they TRIED there with the original Renne's voice, but it's just so off-putting compared to the original japanese one.
