The most plot-twisted and the most cliffhanger game-series I've ever played. Never thought that I'd really care about Class VII so much until this ending hit me. I almost cried out and wanted them to be alive so bad.
I cried so hard after finding out Crow was C all this time. Thinking he planned to shot down that building that has Towa in it. She could've died... He was my favorite male character. And, I've always loved his interactions with Rean. It's just too cruel.. I love this game a lot. Every character development and even the plot twists, even though it's still hard to accept it.. I'm so absorbed in its story and their friendships that this ending is hitting me hard in the kokoro :'(
@@機長-h5l And? can she see into the future? The guns LITERALLY fired before they stopped them, and would have annihilated Crossbell City if they hadn't been unaware of the dud round. There is absolutely no sane, rational way that Crow knew that the guns would be stopped at literally the last second. Thats just typical anime villain bravado (AKA the art of bullshitting)
Damn that cliffhanger had me bawling my eyes out. I had suspicions about Crow after the mine, but still.. And to be forced to escape and leave everyone behind. I never expected to be hit in the feels like that.
@@naelmohammed9551 oh, gotcha. I know it was brought to the west before the PC port, although I guess not to PS4 with the xseed port features. Although I remember trails of cold steel 2 being on psnow a good while ago. Guess that was a PS3 port.
When I first played this game back on the PS3, I was working on three other games along side this one. So, I told myself I would beat it and then take a break and go to the second one. However, that did not happen. As I watched the end, I was dumbfounded this was a twist that I didn't see coming. I immediately started playing the second game thinking: I will reunite them. Class VII will be whole again.
1:56:12 One and Only Hope. How fitting a title for this particular piece of music. Rean doesn't want to leave his friends behind. However, he has no option. He and Valimar ARE the one and only hope to tip the balance and end the fighting once and for all.
It is a shame the trails games 3 and 4 don't have a 3d screen like games 1 and 2. I really liked how the train got more of the class members as you progressed through the plot.
This has the same feeling when I finished Sky FC. I wanted to replay the whole CS1 but the cliffhanger urges me to do CS2 right away. The plot twist also was on par on how Mariabell was. Man I just can't get enough of Trails!
Thank you, wanted to see the various versions of that speech inside Valimar after making my first pick(Machias if you're curious), to see if any of the others tickled my fancy more.
Haha, I went the bromance route my first time as well (with Elliot). Now, I go for best girl Towa whenever I play. The beauty of this series is the character development is so perfect for all the main characters.
@@zackaryslawtandnuggetfan653 I went Alisa lol.... in fact she was the only option I had to dance with(but that's okay with me :-), game was harder than I thought it would be, even on normal...... I got way too used to games becoming more casual over time, but this game was fun
I was totally shock when I found that Crow was see, I was trying to remember a name with C, but when I fight the leader of the Liberation Front, I couldn't help to notice that one of the abilities that C used is similar to the ultimate attack of Crow, that seemed odd, this is like the ending of The Usual Suspects, when they pull the rug under your feet till the last minutes.
I just finished the game yesterday and man this game beats me up. And anyone knows the story behind the the world with many fallen blades? I think those are the weapons of the past students who tried to wake the knight.
And I've been seriously wondering if there is a true ending that I didn't qualify for or something. So it's just a cliffhanger. I mean I knew the characters were still in the other games so they couldn't have died there but still. Man was I panicking.
The description has all the timestamps of each scene where any new Dialogue shows up, In Sara's case. It's the Scene that happens is @1:03:40 although her new Dialogue is @1:07:15 btw youtube marked you as spam lol
I have reach 5 heart with alisa and Laura yet I can’t dance with them? (Do I have to win the ticket event maybe?) Here’s my theory, I’ve got Emma, alisa, Laura, fie all to lv 5 max link and spend 1 ticket on each. I’ve won the game (including just going to the tea house and choosing relationship) on Emma and fie and I can bond with them. I’ve lost the mini game with Laura, and alisa so no bonding. For the flower garden walk, I choose towa, I’m almost positive I didn’t miss any other bonding events with her so I’m going to assume that that event is automatically a failure (I’ll different events in NG+)
hey thank you for that, i know it's such a pain repeating all the way just to show us what will everyone say to him. glad i choose alisa, they're good for each other. no to BROmance
Was it that dance event that was the decider? I really wanted Alisa, for the dance. My choices for girls at the dance event was Laura and Millium lol I chose Laura, and got Laura for that last scene. I mean, I absolutely love Laura, she's probably my favorite of the female characters, but I ship Rean and Alisa so hard, that I was disappointed that I couldn't dance with her. If I knew there was a requirement to be able to dance with them...
@@masterchiefpettyofficerspa3646 no you don't. thats just one of the triggers, you need to have max bond level, and need to do ONE of the three triggers, which is see the final bonding event, take them with you on the bike to get the outfits, or spend two tickets on them at the festival.
picked fie cuz silver haired loli characters are the greatest. also shes the most useful party member. sara would be my second pick tho shes pretty raw
Here I am for the second time after "finishing" the game... which means being stuck at the Rean vs Crow battle AGAIN lol (the fight is nearly unbeatable though, so I FEEL that I DID complete the game two times :D )
Depending on the difficulty, there is a minimum level requirement to beat Crow unfortunately even if you know which to hit or to counter What difficulty are you playing at?
@@cybermega I was playing at HARD (not even NIGHTMARE!), and yes I DID everything perfect, I mean, you can hope that Morning Moon can EVADE and not GUARD, you must be lucky to beat this :(
@@dimitrisk95 The difficulty is really set around Rean's level unfortunately in that regards cause if he is too low, you don't have enough damage to survive the onslaught for Hard IIRC lv 65 would be the minimum requirement to win the fight (My first run ended around that levels). Worst case sadly is to load a previous save (if you have any in the final dungeon) and grind a few levels for Rean (If you have Shining Poms baits, its 1 level per fight I believe unless you used the free ones) Otherwise yeah... Buff up and hopefully you push through :)
@@cybermega don't remember honestly ... but I don't care though because I have seen the ending two times already from this video hahaha, thanks for your advice though!
