@ArcadiaOnline2301 Tales of arise is also a smaller game than the typical tales of title. But that's neither here nor there. Falcom is a small dev that also self publishes. Them choosing what to invest money in during development is why you rarely, if at all ever, hear of their games failing to meet sales expectations. And when you have finite money, you may choose to forgo full voice acting for more gameplay polish, better graphical fidelity, more game to play, etc.
Falcom blew almost all of their budget on hajimari/reverie what smarty pants thought that having 50+ characters being voiced was a good idea? Then couldn't afford more in the extra story
