This. What you just wrote. I totally agree. Like a chef serving a bowl of stew, you stuck your ladel into my brain and from my incoherent abstract thoughts were able to form the exact sentiment of what it is I was feeling. Down to a decimal of a decimal, more perfectly than I ever could have iterated, you captured the essence of every nuance I experienced relating to the subject matter. No words could portray the awe I felt knowing that somebody shared the exact same thought process as me. Not only that, but with the ability to articulate in such a refined manner the depth of said thought process. No words could describe that feeling. Except one. This.
Used to be a pacers fan (don't have a state team) but I loved the teams dynamic. Now I'm a Mavs fan... Not really a band wagon I just enjoy watching teams that have good chemistry and have fun
Everybody laughs at Lance until he reminds us that he got a nasty crossover and is prone to having the whole arena going up from a spectacular play. 50% Shaqtin' Legend, 50% Lance-a-make-em-dance.
I'll always love Lance The Prance. He's one of my favorite players because of how he plays, but even more so, how much stupid levels of fun he has with it. All of his antics may not necessarily help a team, but you know sales wise, it does. Those antics are so enjoyable, hilarious even if completely weird and pointless.
Lance will always be a Legend in nba history for getting literally face to face with and locking up LeBron. Lbj is a top3-5 player of all time, yet he struggled to score on/deal with Stephenson. That's how great Stephenson was
@@tinezakotnik15 which is a team accomplishment. So that argument makes no sense because so many factors play into that. Just admit you don't watch basketball
*BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LMFAO....... Lance Stephenson is forever a legend and a comedic basketball relief, him and Pat Beverly should go against each other more LOL* 6:45
I was in this place called cafeteria in Manhattan, NY. It was one of the only spots open in the city that serves cleaner/decent food at that time… was like 2AM if I recall correctly. Me and a friend, walked in, got a table closer to the end, away from the center… few steps from the bathroom. After we sit, order, get our food, I go to the bathroom so as to wash my hands. Sure enough, 5 feet to the right of our table was Lance Stephenson almost half-laying down, leg extended out to the table across from him, with like 2 guys and 2 girls, if I recall correctly. We had single seats that were solo, and kind of away from the crowd, it’s what I preferred. He also had the corner seat, but part of the crowd… what separated us was the walkway to the bathroom/basement. I’m not the type to ever confront a celebrity, I can only imagine how annoying it becomes… But I didn’t really process it till I came back from the bathroom, sat down. I kinda said quietly to my friend, “yo, That’s Lance Stephenson to my right. The kid that was supposed to be the next big prospect out of Lincoln High after Marbury & his cousin, Telfair. The one that was supposed to be even better than both.” He responded, “who the fuck is that? I don’t know any of those people you mentioned.” 😂 I forgot he watches NO sport, and it’s one thing I like about him. My friend is like this first generation Eurasian kid who’s lived his whole life in Staten Island, but born In BK like me, and SI is kinda away from rest of the city local news, doesn’t watch any NBA/NFL/MLB, is strictly about work and maintaining a decent lifestyle. I started 😂 It will always be a funny story. The difference in… knowing, not knowing… and not even caring, considering it’s a game of basketball. Yeah, that’s my Lance Story. I always felt like if he had … just really focused on his craft without falling into the traps of environment, surrounding yourself with the wrong people. He would be a hall of famer. Career average of 22-9-7 1 steal 1 block Defensive Wiz who gets under the skin of the teams favored to win it all It was just a matter of distancing yourself from those who only want to use you as a means to an end. It’s hard to stay away from those people when your talent is so evident in a place like Brooklyn, NYC. (Edit: in NYC, to the very very local born and raised in Brooklyn, Lance will always be a celebrity, especially in the parks of NYC.)
Definitely a Lance fan. I'd love to see him do some work with Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf. It'd be great to see him get a run in the NBA again but if not, he'd be fun to watch in the Big3 league (which Rauf is, or was, a part of).
When I was in high school lance came to Erasmus high school for a game . As he was playing he told everyone in the crowd “Smd” and nobody couldn’t do anything about it 😂😂😂. Lance was that powerful in NY at that time
I once saw Lance Stephenson iso on Chris Bosh, but instead of trying to cross him, Lance back Chris down in the post and hit him with a fadeaway for the swish.
