A little history behind the legend himself, and a highlight reel of Albany freshman attack-man Tehoka Nanticoke. I do not own the rights to this music. Song: "Experience" - Ludovico Einaudi.
I've never watched lacrosse in my life. Have no idea who this is. Video showed up in my feed and do to the music and the way you were putting quotes throughout the video I thought it was like a memorial for a player who died.
Kid hasn't even finished his first season in college and he's got enough footage for a highlight real. Unbelievable athlete and creativity. His ability to keep his eyes up in traffic while taking hits from multiple defenders bigger than him is absolutely incredible. Hope he stays healthy in his college career and continues to improve, he's absolutely changing the game !
Shame it didn't end the way he would've wanted it to at Albany. I'm sure he'll have a long professional career ahead of him, in the NLL, and hopefully the PLL too.
Unreal talent. When you see what a world class player can do with creativity it reminds me why this sport is forever a part of me. Hope to see these highlights for another decade or so!
This is so cool, i remember last year for the sandstorm tournament of 2017, I saw this guy playing and I was just amazed. The way he plays so casually yet so precisely. I didn't realize who exactly I was watching until I saw him all over social media.
Good to see you thriving bud, played with this guy in his early box days. Seen him break a stick and still work the ball to our attack with his feet haha ill never forget that #LivingLegend
Did the Iroquois national team just adopt the Albany colors because most of the Iroquois go to Albany? Does anyone know the reasoning behind the same color scheme?
@@LZR9 why would I lie bout somethin like that U stupid fuck ahahaha if I was gonna lie id come up with somethin better than that "oh this guy thinks we believe he's related to a lacrosse player" lol.....what a douche
Too bad his only lacrosse options after college are coaching and earning 15k a year as a "pro" player, unless he is some really technical engineer who can redesign the lacrosse stick. These guys have so much talent but their playing careers are basically done after college. The sad music fits.
So we'll just pretend like all those amazing goals and no-look passes at IMG, the All-American games, national games with the Iroquois Nation, and his first year at Albany didn't happen... got it.
legend - "an extremely famous or notorious person, especially in a particular field." I'd say he qualifies. It's not solely based on stats. It's about how well known he is in the sport, and for those that follow lacrosse, he is a legend. I'm just disappointed that Syracuse lost another one to Albany. They used to get every great native American.
And let's not forget leading the Six Nations Arrows to winning the Minto Cup to be the best Junior A box lacrosse team in Canada. That's not an easy trophy to win. Him and Staats were an unreal duo
I play in the league tehoka played for and it is known to some that he faked his age. This is done by the chief of the First Nations tribe writing a fake birth certificate this is a very common thing from First Nation tribes in canada
This guy is grossly overrated - saw him play against the Maryland Terps this spring and he contributed next to nothing to the game. All hype, no action.
Honestly box lacrosse may just be better, this looks incredibly boring, no flying bodies, no major hits, no dirty visible play , gotta say it missing the action u get in both shocker and box lacrosse.
