I’ve never seen the waterfall before it’s just so far from where you put in at, ill have to go, thanks for the map too. This is definitely my favorite place to go and kayak and snorkel and just all-around have a good day the lake is too small for big boats and kayaks and king lol. I spend way more time in the Little Tennessee River from the Georgia line about 20 miles north in small sections. But all the lakes around here are very nice well thanks for the video keep up the great work, these are quality videos.
Thanks for the compliment. I'm glad the map will help. When I first heard of this place and the waterfall I was totally unaware of where it was so I wanted to make sure to include the map to help guide others.
Nice video. One thing about canoeing/kayaking in Florida is there aren't many waterfalls.....as in zero....at least in Central Florida. I know there's some small ones up in the panhandle around Tate's Hell and Apalachicola but it's too flat where I live. Having grown up in Western Oregon I definitely miss seeing them. They're everywhere in Oregon. I enjoyed your latest adventure.
The waterfall is a very cool feature. We are looking to find some caves to kayak sometime this summer so we might be checking out the Uwharrie River in North Carolina. I've heard of some caves in Tennessee too which at some point we might check out.
@@Kayak7seas There's the Etowah River in Georgia that has the 1/4 mile tunnel you can paddle through. It was an old diversion tunnel they dug 150 years ago so they could mine the gold in the river bottom. Now it's quite the attraction for canoeist and kayakers.
