I felt like shit this evening, but remembered what Tusk had to go through. I thought to myself: "I have to keep on, in his memory. Legends never die." Deep feels.
never having watched the series this is from, I wondered why you didnt make this with the english version. I watched it and now I am glad you stayed with the original....
Mayowa Adesokan That word doesnt even mean that. A vast majority of dubs are straight up awful, theres not other way to put it. Even the ones that arent awful usually aren't better than the original version. Only in very few cases are they close to the original in quality ( Black Lagoon, Code Geass, Death Note) and even fewer are better (Cowboy Bebop, Great Teacher Onizuka.)
another thing I don't understand about this is why are there a few english words in a Japanese anime? the majority of it is japanese but they still say Captain Falcon and Falcon Punch! in english for some reason
It's standard in Japanese education nowadays to include lessons in english. Heck, their language system has incorporated it pretty heavily as a basis for foreign words and whatnot. So the few english words here and there are actually pretty normal for an everyday Japanese civilian.
Japanese borrows a lot of words from foreign languages, to the point that they have an entire alphabet (katakana) for this. Its nothing unusual either, even english borrows a lot of foreign words ("e.g." is short for "exempli gratia" which is latin for "for instance")
Doom: "NO, MY DREAM!" Tusk: "Black Shadow! Looks like we're going to hell together!" Brewmaster: "CAPTAIN FALCON!" T: "Only he who exceeds the Falcon can become the Falcon... Ryu Suzaku! From now on, you are Captain Falcon!" B: *gasp* D: "I WILL NEVER DIE! NEVER!" T: "FALCON PUUUUUNCH!" B: "CAPTAIN FALCON!" D: *death scream*
