I love how humble Matt is every time he gets a chance to speak, and how he praises the whole team first and foremost instead of focusing on the core group. He's like a fangirl of the entire thing and everyone involved, while being the creator of most of the world and the entire campaign. This is amazingly wholesome to watch.

Hopefully we see more people like Brandon on camera. They may not be in the spotlight but they deserve some attention for the wonderful hard work they do.

As someone who started on C1 and is only still catching up on C2 this show really makes me finally feel like a part of the critter community. Seeing Vox Machina animated was more than I could hope for and I cannot wait for the rest!

I just watched the episodes on Monday, but that storyboard thing of the briarwood aftermath really drives this point home: Taliesen is an amazing voice actor.

Hearing about Keyleth being “that girl at the party” dealing with Gold-Schlager (sp?) and Ever-Clear reminded me of Marisha doing Beau’s story, but when it got to Liam, Liam made it seem she crashed the party at the “Tossmans” and got plastered. Travis commented, “She drank the Gold-schlager, she drank the Jaeger-meister, let’s give her the Ever-clear!”

It's almost amusing to see "Matt Mercer - Voice of Sylas Briarwood," because he was the voice of EVERY NPC in the campaign.

Fun idea: The Mercer NPC count game Whilst watching the animated show, keep count of how many background characters are voiced by Matt So far, i'm at 8 from eps 1-3 :D Happy watching Critters!!

My favorite is the nod to Grog's inability to do math when playing ball tag. I died at that part

Also thank you for pointing it out Brandon. I saw a lot of non-Critters complain about how the dragon is CGI. But they gotta understand how difficult it is to animate that without going CGI.

I really enjoyed the voice actor for the guy who's putting up the wanted poster, who Scanlan relieves himself on.

My favourite part of David Tennant being cast in it was it easily answered my question I had about a week before the cast were revealed. When I saw a clip of Staged and David said, “I’m Scrooge McDuck” I genuinely thought, “so does he know about Critical Role because of Sam?”

With how disappointing alot of recent adaptations have been, I cannot even put into words how ecstatic I am to see this show turn out to be everything I hoped it would be. It's amazing. What an insane symbol of CR and the critter community that this has manifested as a real animated series that could run for years. Hearing them talk about the setup for potential future seasons is so exciting... the arc after Whitestone, the final arc... holy shit this could be years of amazing Legend of Vox Machina episodes! It's a beautiful thing.

I love that they knew the exact emotions they wanted to convey in the Percy scene and that the instinct was to use that music as a placeholder. It is so iconic and so fitting, and I just know they almost would've used it in the final show if they could.

I’m only 20 and it’s wild that I’ve watched these guys for over 6 years, I know most people won’t see this but these people literally helped form me as a person and that isn’t even an exaggeration, literally all of my teenage and adult (or almost I guess 🤷🏼‍♂️😂) years has been spent viewing them, including all the positivity, inclusiveness and love they’ve spread and I can say I wholeheartedly hope this series will help more people become a part of that

In episode 1 in the tavern, the insult from "Lefty" about Vox Machinas inability to deal with a cow situation, I wonder if it is a inside joke about the (Flying Cows vs the Roc) incident. Very early campaign.

Honestly, watching this as someone who is currently working on a comic, this is helping me conceptualize like, story beats and laying groundwork for plot points. It's very helpful, and additionally, I'm nerding out over this every other minute because aaaah! They really did it! Simply inspirational, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’m a new fan, only about a month and a half of watching, so it’s amazing timing that I was able to get on board just as the animated series was coming out!!! I watched it all on Prime today and was absolutely blown away by the animation, style, voice acting, characters, and story. Every note hit perfectly, it could not have been executed better.

One if my favorite BTS tidbits from the watch party which isn't in the Q&A is Grog's belch. They all took turns trying their best belches after drinking plenty of root beer, and the best ones were from Laura and Marisha! So what we hear in Ep 1 and 2 are a combo of Laura and Marisha's belch XD

As someone who's studying animation, seeing all of the behind the scenes of what makes a show has been fascinating. All of the storyboards, the concept art, the character designs they go trough. I really love this! I am really happy they made this. ALL of this!

Ahhh seeing the enthusiasm makes me so happy and overall generally excited! I finished both season 1 and 2 and I'm on chapter 6 of season 3 of Critical Role makes the feelings inside just burst with appreciation and shows that D&D something I grew to love when I was younger get validated and even pushes it to become a show on AmazonVideo ahhhhhh I hope we continue with this amazing cast and crew and seriously keep showing the background people during these because as a News Segment editor seeing the backbone of the show runners allows us in our profession to actually show others what we do and how to talk about it without the blank expressions on how truly badass it really is! Matt, Marisha, Sam, Daddy O'Brien, Laura, Talison, Travis and now Robby seriously thank you for creating and continuing with this amazing show.

If there is one thing i am grateful for when it comes to watching The Legend of Vox Machina is spending the time to actually watch C1. I'm not saying you have to watch it to enjoy the show, but you definitely appreciate more the story and seeing these events animated along with kinda knowing and appreciating how they managed to boil down hundreds of hours with these arcs and condense them down to be enjoyable.

So far the show is everything I wanted it to be and more. And because this covers some stuff from C1, I feel as if there's a special element to watching it that suggests I'm in on the inside joke. You guys are incredible! The entire team. So much love was put into it and it shows. (Also Sam's amd Liam's kids were in it too! They played the village children! How cool was that?)

So I'm watching episode 4 right now and I decided to check out what all everyone from the cast has been in and had the craziest realization, Im 26 years old, I just started following the channel on RU-vid maybe 3 years ago and Ive been listening to all of your voices since I was a small child. First, I loved the show after seeing recommendations for it and now I'm crying with laughter watching some of the highlight clips on RU-vid. Now I'm kinda mad I am just know learning about Critical Role. I can't wait for this new series of episodes coming out!

I adore this set. I love seeing all the little easter eggs. And seeing the VM shield again almost made me cry. I'm so happy for the animated show and that it brings Vox Machina to the front again. I liked the M9 characters, but I fell in love with the VM ones. And I'm starting to love C3's.

Watching this, it’s amazing how you mentioned how you made things feel like playing D&D. Dice rolls etc. I shit you not I’ve been saying constantly how awesome it is that I sat there thinking repeatedly “that was a good dice roll”. I watched the first season not knowing about you guys and that it was a D&D based show but it felt like it was and I pointed it out repeatedly.

We both play dnd so it’s fantastic that it actually feels like scenes plucked from a home brew game. And the voice acting Tallent on display is insane!!!! Really proud of you guys and the CR community for bringing this one to life!

i honestly thing the legend of vox machina is the best show i've ever seen and will see for a long time just because of the sheer love put into it. it's made from a place of true passion and excitement and that really shows through in the final product. you can FEEL the love and attention to detail. it's incredible and unlike anything i've seen in years

I think the most impressive part of this series is how they managed to collage together the whole story. The animation, voice acting, character concepts, and script are all amazing, but my expectations were already high thanks to the Q&As they published all the way through. The thing I was wondering the most was how they would mix hundreds of hours, plus some pre-streaming arcs, in a 2 season serie. And I gotta say they mixed it together was wonderful, and, if anything, even more intense, deciding to still put the most hype moments without making it feel disconnected or rushed.

I love the show so much. Can't wait to see the next episode. Great job to all the voice actors and animators and everyone who helped make the show what it is

I was already man crushing on David Tennant. Having him involved in th had just catapulted him to knew heights for me. Great if he could come back occasionally as different characters. The biggest thing though for me was Sunil Malhotra voicing Gilmore. I was really really anxious at first because to me Matt will always be Gilmore. But I'll be damned if I didn't love his take on the role I am super excited to see what Sunil does in later episodes. Plus Matt as Sylas more than made up for him not playing some of his classic characters. Everyone was just Brilliant all of you now and always.❤

Started watching CR finally around the time tlovm was announced, in episode 100 now and it has been amazing, made me exited about d&d again and tlovm episodes were really glorious (goddammit Gilmore creeping it up to my vocabulary) beyond what I expected, blew my mind with animation and voice acting and music at times. 👌
