I love how each theme has its own 'personality.' BotW's is so gentle and soft, I love it.

For some reason this is the most nostalgic theme out of all the Zelda themes

Man I will always remember when I was a five-year-old back in the late 90s/early 2000’s. My parents just got a divorce and my father owned his own business so I had to be babysat quite a bit and my babysitter was a teenager and she gave me the opportunity to play The legend of Zelda OOT as well as MM. those are memories that I will never forget. If it wasn’t for the legend of Zelda franchise I would’ve never tried becoming a filmmaker which is what I do as a professional working as a director for Netflix now. About to head into my mid20s and looking back. I own the LOZ franchise a lot. For the kids that come and watch this video enjoy your childhood will you have it trust me when I say as a adult even if you’re working in your dream job such as I am always gonna look back at the more innocent times. Skyword Sword’s is AMAZING!

why is no one pointing out how amazing the spirit tracks one sounds? it's just very different from all the other ones while still sounding almost the same... it's the background elements that really make that one feel special idk

It's taken me some time, but I actually quite like the BOTW one. I used to think it was okay, but now I really do like it it's pretty unique. Not my favorite, but still great in it's own right.

The Fairy's Fountain Milk Bar theme feels like it would fit perfectly as a song that plays in BOTW if in there were lil' fairy fountains you could find at the stables.

I keep getting goosebumps at the beginning of all the Fairy Fountains. I just love that harp sounds.

Fun fact: Phantom Hourglass actually has a second take of the Fairy Fountain theme that plays during the ending, called "Ciela's Parting Words." However, it hits different due to its more bittersweet tone and the addition of an entirely new segment to the song.

it is because it is one of first songs that you hear. You hear it first when creating a save file in every game. You also associate it with safety, and upgrades. It is a simple melody, easy to remember, reinforced every time a game comes out, when you start playing, and during important events in game. My next favorite is Rito Village. I find Rito quite charming, especially in BoTW.

1:37 it takes me back to 2001 playing on my GameCube….. I miss that.

I always been in love with fairy fountain themes.

Without a doubt, Skyward Sword is my pick for best Fairy Fountain theme. Those sweeping violins do so much in setting the tone for the game. Sweet, angelically delicate qualities, quite fitting for as heavenly a setting as Skyloft!

My favorite is WW and I love how the fairy spring theme is so divine and the fairy queen theme achieves that little kid vibe.

I love that you can hear the breaths from the musician in the Milk Bar rendition, makes it feel so cozy and warm

The second one is my childhood. It gives me so much nostalgia. It quite literally makes me cry from the amount of good memories I had while playing the Zelda series.

In the beginning of every theme, I always imagine this being sang "Wisdom, Courage, Power, Master."

out of all of these botw's fairy fountain soundtrack feels the most underwhelming. yeah i think it's good, but it feels like background noise - which makes sense to the open world botw since it won't feel cut off if you pass by because they made it sound continuous and making it not stand out too much it serves it's purpose well, but i wish they'd add a stronger separate soundtrack that plays when you actually talk to one of the great fairies

Something about ALTTP's theme I just love. Maybe it's the fact that it's so soft. Not to throw a theme like Skyward Sword's under the bus, but it's just so loud and has so much going on. Given the right moment or cutscene it could fit perfectly, but I always imagined a Fairy Fountain being a place of tranquility where Link goes to heal his wounds.

link to the past will always be my childhood favorite full of nostalgia, but OOT and MM are the cleanest/most beautiful to listen to and take me right back to being a kid and playing the game not knowing what to do but having endless fun

I won't forget Twilight princess, that was my favorite out of them all. I know Skyward sword was good but i hate motion controls. Same with Phantom hourglass and spirit tracks those games were great!

Fun fact: all top-down Zelda games, starting with A Link to the Past, feature very similar or identical renditions of the theme in the F# key, while all 3D games starting with Ocarina of Time, feature renditions of the same theme in the F key instead. A little something for musicians like myself.
