The fact that you need 13 Hearts to get the master sword as a reference the original Legend of Zelda where are you need 13 Hearts to get the magic sword whatever it's called
Ok but if you place a fire camp near to the master sword and sleep and get up and and faster tap to get the master andd boom you will have your master sword
May Iwata rest in peace. You've helped make many wonderful games in your time on earth and we love you for that. Hope you got an express ticket to heaven.
We don’t know if it does or not dead Squirrel smoking all we can do is believe what we want and allow that to help us enjoy life and remain secure for when it ends.
i forget where it is exactly but there's a bridge near outskirt stable called gleeok bridge, a reference to one of the first enemies in the first legend of zelda.
8:17 That phantom armour is actually the look a phantom takes when possessed by Zelda's spirit, so it'd be from Spirit Tracks, not Phantom Hourglass :0!
In the cutscene where link passes out the master sword makes noise responding to link and the sound is actually the sound of fi coming out of your sword in skyward sword
My favorite Easter Egg is when you fully complete the trial of the sword, you hear a small chime come from the master sword. A chime that will sound VERY familiar to anyone who's played Skyward Sword....
There is a cool easter egg very much referencing the Song of Storms. Near a stable in the Faron region you can find Kass who will give you the shrine quest "Song of Storms".
2 things: Inogo Bridge is named after the Indigogos. Also, on the Great Plateau, on top of the mountain, you can find the Old Man next to an odd rock formation. Many might think nothing of it, but did you know that the rock formation is actually the king's tomb? So, the old man/ King Rhoam, is looking out on his kingdom, next to the place where he is buried. In addition, the staff originally wanted to have some shiekah be up there, placing flowers by his tomb.
Also there is Mido swamp and lake Saria next to the lost woods, which (obviously) is a reference to Ocarina of Time RIP Robin Williams though I wish he would've lived to see Breath of the Wild
For another Easter egg, ( I think... ) before you finish all of the quests for Kass, when you see him at any stable he's located in, he harmonizes with the stable music, making it sound like Epona's theme.(?) It was just worth mentioning in case anyone missed it.
in the forgotten temple if you go all the way through it, at the end there is a shrine but behind the shrine if you look around then you may be able to see that it is based on the goddess island from skyward sword witch then went down to the sealed grounds
it is theorized and very well-supported that the "forgotten temple" in this game is the "sealed temple" from SS. the structure is the same when compared, and you can even see the tree of life sticking out from the side through the wall. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--h0h1CydP6o.html
Tingle Island also has a visual reference to the character - If you zoom out you'll see that the islands look like a bunch of balloons floating with strings.
Here’s one I found: At one of the stables, you run into a boy who says he wants to see balloons. This triggers the side quest ‘Balloon flight’. The boy says he HEARD ABOUT A LAND ABOVE THE CLOUDS and wishes to see it. Once you finish the side quest, he tells you he want to fly to this land via balloons and FLY ON THE BIG BIRDS! HELLO?!?! SKYWARD SWORD ANYONE?
it's not just a hint but a total reference using big chunks. when i entered rito village the first time and heard it, i just put down my controller and held my breath for a while as it played. so good!
Ah, you missed one music thing! The music in the Rito area is pretty much the song Dragon Roost Island from windwaker, which is something I found really cool
Actually, Link was originally going to ride a motorcycle and wear a track suit in the early stages of development, so the master cycle zero is more of an easter egg in Mario Kart rather than BotW
I might be late, but you forgot Toto lake in the names. Also near Minshi Forest is Pico Pondm which I'd think be a further refference since Hylians called the Minish 'Picori' Also Raru in the same image, referring to the Sage of Light. But yeah, there's loads of names near the Zora and Rito settlements that I've recognized, too. Ralis, Laruta, and Komali come to mind. Also 7:22 Correction: Ganon's Castle. Hyrule Castle was erased in OoT. More specifically, the location is called 'Ganon's Tower.' 7:31 Kass also plays the song when you find him at one of the stables.
I- wait you're telling me Link has an easier time speaking with the goddess than Zelda??? She was struggling with her training for so long when she could have just gone to any statue in the cities and just prayed there???? Damn Zelda
A little kid came over to my house and was playing Zelda BotW and they had never played other Zelda games and they hit the Cucco 4 times and got wrecked.
MY favourite EE is the Lord of The Mountain of course and the music played when you enter Rito Village, a modified version of the Dragon Roost Island song in Wind Waker. By the way, you missed to mention the references to Skyward Sword as well (like the Owlan, Hornwell and Eagus bridges over Hylia River) , but overall a great video. Thanks.
Not sure in english, but in spanish the name "Vah Ruta" also makes reference to the word "barrita", which is the sound produced by elephants (which also makes sense since the beast Vah Ruta is similar to an elephant).
