A LEGEND OF ZELDA DECK!! I'm really impressed with how well the characters matched the archetypes; this was thought out, not just images slapped on the cards. I love this video ❤ I'm much older than you and remember when Zelda first came out. Great times and memories 😊
Right?! I’m glad you’re also impressed, I thought they did a phenomenal job of it all. Oh man, that first Zelda was ROUGH. I’ve tried many times and lack the basic skills to not die every 3 seconds in that game 🤣 people wanna talk about the Dark Souls games being punishing, no no, let’s about Zelda 1 being punishing lol. 💜
ahhh finally i found a review of this deck that is so exciting! I don't mind the cardstock at all, but i did back two decks (mostly also because i wanted to get rid of the boarder sue me) i just love the energy of the deck, it works well, but it does have a darker tone to me (the more i think about the choices the more i realise how dark the games are in general)
I’m so here for your backing two just to 86 a border on one of them 🤣 was the borderectomy a success? Also, so much truth to what you said about the ominous tones. Those games made some heavy ass choices lol. Thanks so much for watching and for sharing your thoughts! Also love that the cardstock isn’t an issue for you! I don’t mind it either. Though oh man, some of the backers in the comment section for that campaign were losing their minds over the cardstock. My blood pressure was spiking just reading them 🤣
@LarkandLegend haha thank you for validating my choice! borderectomy (LOVE that word lol) successful, the art pops, it's easier to handle for my tiny hands, overall 0 regrets! i am a beginner reader, that's why I love having the extra zelda connection, it helps me read (and the booklet is just hilarious!) and also helps with highlighting what might be hindering me currently, I just love the vibe! Also yes I did notice those comments re the cardstock, honestly I am not sure why people were so up in arms, I feel in worst case the edges might fray over time and I can live with that, means the deck was loved (which it is). They made me anxious if I backed a low quality deck so in the end I was just positively surprised:p
