This was so wild I'm so excited to play the new game! I saw some fanart someone did like "forget the Master Sword watch out Ganon" and it was just like this giant weapon made of a bunch of fused together random crap 😂😂😂. Also I'm kind of obsessed with Link's look.

Ultra hand is really cool. Not just vehicles, bridges, shelters, SIGE MACHINES!!!! the possibilities are endless.

Ok, i KNOW it sounds super minor. However, when he mentioned how you wont see many of the golden trees on the surface, i cant help but think he's actually hinting towards something story wise. Thats not just a random comment.

I'm trying to beat Breath of the Wild in time for the release of this, but I've had it for a little over two years now, put 175hrs into my first playthrough, and am still nowhere near done 😂 I'm just having so much fun running around, solving korok puzzles and discovering new corners of the map. It's my first Zelda game and its truly become one of my favourite games of all time. Cannot wait to do it all over again in Tears of the Kingdom!

I think you can definitely increases battery life. In the last trailer, look at the car. It appears that there is some sort of large power source powering the whole vehicle. There also appears to be a shop on the minimap with a battery icon, so you never know...

the vah medoh boss was the coolest part of botw -- imo -- so it's nice to see them making a whole game out being that high up. and probably an elaborate cave system too

i think what makes me the most excited with fusing is the effects it could have!!! for example i first thought you could only get the wind effect from a korok leave, but nope! you just gotta find something that normally could work the same way!

I am remembering the old Zelda: Link to the Past and when you had to drop through particular holes in floors in dungeons, sometimes times you had to bomb holes in floors, to get to secret rooms and such. This time you have to think vertically upwards perhaps.

For a Speedrunner, that Ascend is going to be so much fun.

cool fact nobody noticed: if you turn 1 Fan it takes 12 seconds to the battery go to 0% energy in the X Y direction if you turn 2 Fans it takes 24 seconds to the battery go to 0% energy in the X Y direction Z direction turning down its different

fusing is probably why they were so hush hush about stuff with this game. it would be too many questions so they just waited and explained themselves once it was perfected

I love that we are not being limited to crafting just the things in a craft menu. With this, we can do almost anything!

Batteries are the key to power things.. Remember in the past trailers there are capsules attached to Links belt on place of the Shiekah slate. Im guessinf those are batteries

Was wondering if you were gonna do this, glad you did. Love the new gameplay mechanics. I hope it doesn't make the game too easy. We still better get diving and caves/dungeons though. But no dive button when he was in the water. T_T And I hope weapons last longer or have some kind of thing you can do to weapons to mitigate it. I don't like that weapon clipping through the ground.

I'm trying to imagine what all the different arrow fusions could be, would a keese wing increase arrow speed, distance? Definitely gonna be some Dragons Dogma vibes with water arrows, oil arrows, etc to combine with the elemental types.

I wish I could send videogames to my past self so I could be young enough to have my mind blown by how much things have progressed, but also so I had the time and ability to play. Luckily I was able to play BoTW on a friend's Switch, but I definitely want to experience some of the other awesome games that have come out in the last decade. Just easier to do when you're either a kid or it's your job.

One thing that I was thinking and didn't know if it was real or not, but there is still a ton of potential for there being a whole underground system to explore. I almost expect the ground level to be a simpler place (with some changes from BOTW but not too many as the new abilities will make the world different) where you gather materials and play around. And because the sky and underground have fewer entrance points, they are the challenging areas. With the ascend ability, you can exit the underground at any point. And with the sky you can jump off almost anywhere. So you make excursions (dungeon runs) for as far as you have the resources to use. Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but it has all of the tools there for gameplay like that

I want to know if you could construct drivable weaponized vehicles so you can use like say a bulldozer or something with mounted blades so you can ram enemies.

I wonder if you can fuse a metal door to one of those fans and defeat the purpose for shield surfing and if you can fuse a lightning rod/blade to a broken guardian or something to make it functional? 🤔 so many possibilities

honestly disappointed that that massive dive from the sky didnt have some kind of animation to smooth that feeling of momentum over to the instant stop of the water,, felt less climactic than big dives in the current game

One thing I was surprised they didnt do for Breath of the Wild was putting the game on a gold Switch cartridge. It would be funny and awesome to see the little Switch cart in gold plastic. C'mon Nintendo, it's Zelda, go all out!

The transportation building looks pretty limited in the sense that you can only use what’s around you instead of collecting parts :(

I hope they're less restrictive with mounts, although they'll probably matter less in this game anyway since you'll be flying or gliding everywhere. It annoyed me greatly that the giant horse I found couldn't equip gear or that I couldn't keep all the cool animals I managed to ride on.

Yeah, I feel like BotW joined the Witcher 3 (2015), and Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018) club of games that are still covered and analyzed YEARS after release.

I forgot about how last time Aonuma appeared he told us about it being delayed.. I honestly want Nintendo to one time just fuck with us and say "It's delayed again... JUST KIDDING!" or something.. they really gotta know people would actually love to laugh at that situation if they did it.. not the obviously fake fakeouts from Ultimate (ie no one I saw ever was fooled by the K Rool or Banjo fake outs) Also most of the new stuff added I just see as.. lessening the gap between beginners and advanced players.. (ie fusing fixes + improves durability so can be more gung ho.. and keese farming so can get lots of eyeballs for homing arrows lol and ascending alleviates some stamina management and lets you explore some places easier than "welp.. gotta come back when have enough stamina to climb this cliff")

I might get this but i hate the fact that weapons break and you can't repair them. You can repair them in oblivion and witcher 3. At least you can fuse stuff

It looks cool and all, but this is $70 for what is essentially a DLC of the first game. It should at most cost as much as the first game and it should definitely not cost more. Considering just playing on emulator tbh.
