The Legend of Zhen Huan - Basically... (ep. 1 run-down) 

This emperor is on a whole different caliber in terms of acting. But then, what else can be said about the guy who made Cao Cao likable?

Honestly, Legend of Zhen Huan ruined every other palace drama for me. After watching it, nothing else could compare and I think only Ruyi manged to get close. Definetly one I recomend watching till the very end, especially since it's available here in youtube.

Zhen Huan is one of my favorite dramas ever, the costumes, the schemes, the backstabbing...

It just trips me out that (historically - not sure if this particular drama depicts it) the women are brought to him naked and burrito-wrapped in a blanket after he selects one from a tray of available tokens. It’s like the naughty version of ordering Chipotle from Door Dash. Like I can’t. 😂😂😂

This drama was to 2012 what BBJX was to 2011 and Three kingdoms to 2010 : unforgettable

This drama was a hot hit back in 2012 after BBJX. It revived Jiang Xin career a lil bit and I was so happy cause I loved her in Tian Long Ba Bu 2003

I was also very reluctant to watch this drama but the urge to see hua fei, the empress and after a while even the emperor die miserably at the hands of Zhen huan was too much. I still watched it at 2x speed tho, the slow walking was too much for me.
