(cont.) 1. ...Gloria REMAINS the only Person to get a "Best Disco Song" Grammy (in 1979); they did away with the category in 1980, but it came back as "Best Dance Recording" in 1997....which went to... *DONNA SUMMER* , for "Carry On"..... 2. ...Gloria had the FIRST 'Disco Medley', with her 1974 medley of "Never Can Say Goodbye", seguing into 2 other Songs...she became Queen of the 'Medley''s, until everyone else followed.... 3. ...Gloria had the FIRST "Disco charts" #1, with "Never Can...", when Billboard created the first 'Disco Action Charts', in October 26th, 1974....which stayed there for 4 weeks... 4. ...Gloria also became Queen of "G-y HI-NRG" when she covered "I Am What I Am" (peaking at #3 Dance, in 1983), which became a staple tune during G-y Pride Month, through the decades.... ...a TRUE survivor, who will always SURVIVE.....
