Pep is one of the greatest coaches the game has ever seen, he’s completely transformed football to what it is today. There are very few accolades he’s missing but I’m sure he’ll retire with several UCL’s from different teams and it will be interesting to see if he ever decides to coach nationally

It really isn’t understandable how scary his Barcelona squad was, if you haven’t experienced it first hand … especially since half his squad would win the Euros twice and the World cup once during his tenure there…

Just to let you know that Pep's success with Barcelona was also transpired to the national team the same period. At that time, Spain were dominating both Europe and World, winning the World Cup in 2010 and became the only country to ever won back-to-back Euros in 2008 and 2012. Most of Barca players were also a major part of La Furia Roja's success.

I have never seen such genius and tactical master ever. And he did all that without resorting to cheap taunts, insults or cheap gimmicks. His plays are masterful and beautiful to look at. Perfection.

The fact that Pep is still this young at his managerial peak suggests that he could genuinely become the manager GOAT when he retires.

As a Liverpool supporter, I think Alex Ferguson and Guardiola are the greatest managers of all time. Both are legendary.

Pep is one of the greatest managers of all time. Some people disrespect other manager's when they talk about him. Pep's Bayern should have won a Champions League. Other managers like Jose won the Champions League with Porto and are shocking fashion and with an old Inter Milan. I think Jose, Alex, and Cruyff are better, but Pep's Tiki-Taka was beautiful. As a fan of football you have to admire the way he conducts his teams. It is an absolute masterclass which changed the way football is played and will be played forever. The only stick that I can point out is he always did it with star studded teams. He never tried to accomplish his success with good teams aspiring to be great. A good example would be Manchester United or let's say Juventus. In Barcelona he had an almost complete winning team. In Bayern he had a squad which won the treble a year before so in all fairness, he underachieved. Manchester City is the closest thing but it was packed with top players when he arrived and won the league in 2012 and 2014. In all fairness he is a top manager but I'm pretty sure there has been a few managers who could the same or even better with all the freedom he gets in transfer market.

I would rank him number 1 of his playing style and revolutionize the game

Pep is undoubtedly incredibly talented in managing star-studded squads, especially at the individual level, and his consistency and perfectionism have enabled him to keep winning titles season after season. Truly one of his kind. Still, I'd wait until the end of his career to compare him to others. Back then, teams had less resources and were often limited to a handful of foreign players. My main criticisms is that he tries to fix things that aren't broken and/or doesn't want to adapt to some situations. He replaced a reliable GK in Joe Hart and practically broke him, and his management of Mahrez is quite weird. His failure at Bayern was due to the fact that he tried to change too many things, even shouting at Schweinsteiger for shooting and scoring from distance instead of passing. He seemed as though he was too afraid of taking risks and he only swore by his Barça tactics which were too different from the traditional Bayern approach. I really hope that once his Man City tenure ends, he will challenge himself in a limited squad. If he manages this and learns from all his lessons (which I believe he can), then he'll be close to the top if not on the top of the all-time greats of a sport that, let's not forget, has been codified 160 years ago. I also hope he'll begin to enjoy himself as a manager.
