The legendary Romanian motorcycle MOBRA, with the production at the Zarnesti - “6th March” factory starting in spring of 1970, Mobra 50 is the successor of Carpati and Carpati Super motorcycles. Mobra 50 has a 50 cmc, two-stroke , single cylinder engine that develops 4 HP at 7000 rpm. The motorcycle weighs 80 kg, and has a maximum load of 150 kg. The 12 litres fuel tank gives an autonomy of 500 km. Average consumption is 2.5 l / 100 km. Maximum speed of Mobra motorcycle is 70 km/h. The modified competition Mobra 50 can reach up to 115 km/h.
The production of Mobra motorcycles haulted in 1994 and in 2001 the factory was reorganised as a military production unit. Even in 2004, at the Tohan factory were produced 1500 Pegas bicycles.
