My mom died when I was 8 and ever since I wish I was with here but I can't make her proud being there with her so I have to make her proud and try to do the best I can... I know how it is to miss a love one... Extremities of Life and its process
I miss the days...so much, when me and my Dad would watch classic movies like this. 😊 The days when it was so great...not perfect, but a lot better than today. R.I.P. Dad. 😊😥
I buried my Dad today. He was 86 years old and always loved Westerns. I feel so sad and lost now. My miss him and the good times we had watching Westerns together.
I am from India. Now I am 70. So, I like old films. Very interesting story, actors and actresses were very good. I have charmed to see the beautiful picture of the nature. Old is always gold.
What!? the whole fight scene at 1:04:01 in front of the family is what I scrolled too immediately and right after leaving some video of a doctor trying to convince me I can quit smoking.
Filmed in Sedona was worth the watch and I stayed until the end…but the ending…horrible…unrealistic. They would have at least sent him to prison for 10-20 years for the retaliation murders….not start a marriage ceremony. Lame.
@@campreverbia He was an eye witness to a triple murder and had the right back then to use the necessary force to a citizens arrest; the 3 he offed resisted him with firearms; easy decision to set him free. Great movie; liked the good ending.
Well, Donald Trump did it wrong.once a Sex offender always a sex offender this movie. Is true, but except for Donald Trump. He's a crook Holloway over. Is always a crook

A truly fantastic film. Enveloping and intriguing story. Right tension throughout the film and then a great Richard. Unfortunately it's no longer the time for great cinema today. I didn't remember it. Thanks for sharing it.
FYI the young woman playing the indian girl wearing the red dress is cult favorite actress Susan Kohner. Couple years after this movie was released (1956) she would go on to play the character Sarah Jane in the classic movie ”Imitation of Life” for which she won a Golden Globe award and was nominated for Academy Award for best supporting actress.
I am from Pakistan Gujranwala, Thanks for sharing classic golden movie. Good acting, scnery, screenplay. Upload such claasic movies. Thanks Malik Muhammad Mukhtar Gujranwala, Pakistan. 33:37
Tears, Tears, Tears...I don't remember this movie. But, there's a lot of things I don't remember now. But this movie... It is fantastic. If you send it from your computer to your TV, RU-vid will destroy it. Better to watch w/o commercials on your Computer.
Awesome movie! I live in Sedona and used to live on Last Wagon Drive. LOL! Some of the scenes are near Cathedral and Bell Rock. It must have been amazing being there in the 1950s before all the tourists. LOL!
PS: This movie is better than a lot of these current Western Cowboy movies... great acting, action, dress, and scenery... I'm just WoW'ed that missed watching this particular movie... and the lead is 1 of my favorite actors. Awesome movie... I give it a... 10 Rating... on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being Excellent!
this movie was amazing and no one can afford to miss it. there were moments when I cried; other times I felt fear and was afraid. I felt vulnerable yet there were scenes that brought bubbling joy. The part with the snake was sheer terror. In the end there was a sense of wholeness that few films can probably achieve?
The Last Wagon - Richard Widmark is Comanche Todd, a white man who once lived with the Indians, now on the run from the law. He is tough, uncompromising and a killer. But he saves youngsters in a wagon train, survivors from an Apache massacre. The movie deals with racial prejudice, teen rebellion (a fashionable theme at the time) and redemption. Todd ends up forming a new nuclear family, with the beautiful and slightly fey Felicia Farr and young Tommy Rettig (the Lassie boy). Great western!
Why can’t I find any information on this movie? Just finished watching it and thoroughly liked it! Reminds me of my time with my father! He passed on his love of the Western genre to me! Thanks for posting!!
Tree stumps! Petrified vegetation. Some of it perhaps repurposed as buildings before and after it petrified. They will all be mined someday. 1 at a time. That’s how they are doing it now.
When they retrieve Richard Widmark from the cliff, that somehow, he had no bruises or scratches, injuries, no torn clothes, and not a hair out of place😮. Not meant to detract . Very good movie all the same.
Just so you know, I have an 1873 Winchester in 32-20. 4 digit serial number. But you are correct, those portrayed in the movie had round tubular barrels. Prier barrels were hexagon as is my rifle.
