Join Bricksie on a trip to the LEGO Store! Scout out the Pick-A-Brick Wall and get some helpful tips on how to pack PAB cups and nearly double the number of pieces you get!
@@Cbeast most places are now but 3 months ago a lot of places still required masks and a lot of places weren’t open to full capacity. Some restaurants here are still curbside/drive through only.
This was fun and helpful, but to be honest, from the title, I expected more pick-a-brick wall content and tips. Maybe I missed something, but the tips I got were: The 1x2 bricks fit perfectly in the bottom. How to stack 1x2 bricks to get the maximum amount in the cup. And 4x4 plates fit in the lid. So, how would you fill a cup if you wanted another type of bricks? How would you fill it with different types of bricks mixed? Could you not have used the leftover space in you cup with the 1x2 bricks with 1x1 tiles or something? I've only been to the pick-a-brick wall once, and for my next visit, I could really use some good tips :-)
The helicopter is based on the Chinook, whilst mostly known as a military vehicle(CH47), there was a civilian variant used in the late ‘70’s and can be seen in the film McQ with John Wayne, The Hercules aka C130 is a fixed wing four engined aircraft primarily used for cargo transportation although there are other variants
Always ask to look at the board,on which they have all the PaB bricks. They can only put so many out. Also look in the draw behind the 32 x 32 plates. That’s where they keep the remnants, always interesting bits ‘n bobs in there!
Super fun to see the Pick a Brick wall. I like how you stacked the 1x2's to get more. I'm 5 hours from the closest USA LEGO Store. Mall of America. The closest store is actually in Winnipeg. It's just easier to pick up the phone & order what I want.
Thanks for taking us shopping with you! 😊. That would be fun a whole large container (?) of just eyes Lol!! I like the gold color 1x1 plates! I have never been in a Lego store so this is as close as I will get until they decide to build one in my city. I bet you’ll hit 20k very soon! I like what you have built at home! Stay well and good luck on finding the lego pieces you were looking for! Your friend and AFOL, from Tucson, AZ USA 😃
Soon I will be visiting my very 1st LEGO Store, so I checked this video out to see what I can expect. I really hope the 40th Anniversary Train promotion is still going on. I really want the Lunar Lander and I want to get my first Pick a Brick cup.
Nice to see how you filled the pick a brick cups - didn't know you could do that......but sadly now the staff have to do the picks for you and I don't think they will fill the containers like that!!
Yeah I am really happy to see that your channel grows so quick My country is already shut down a lot most shops are empty the food and... toilet paper seriously make sure you have enough of that our whole country is out of long shelf live food and they are not getting resupplies so make sure you buy beans and things like butter and bread all events are closed working is only with max. 3 persons in an office per time and school is down and everything is chaos it all started with just one person and then 2, 3, 5, 8, 12, 18, 26, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100, 140, 200, 300, 500 this is around now over a thousand people are in quarantine
Jesus. Ive not seen the 4 by 6 door frames since the lego toy boxes around 2006. Strange they are still around and popular. I wouldnt think they would be.
I also live in Edmonton, all my concerts and things have been cancelled including classes. I hope this all goes away soon, not sure if they will shut down the malls or not.
Bricksie: Maybe in the near future if the virus doesn't settle down I may not be able to go to the Lego Store Pick a brick anymore. Me: Well, you can go to the Lego website and choose pick a brick and order your pieces there.
Wow I would love to be in the giveaway! I cant rack up the funds to get a larger lego set but MAN! the Tantive looks incredible in store amd on your shelves!!
I had plans to go to my local lego store today but thosecplans were cancaled since I could not meet up with a friend today so now if my $20 of pick a brick from shop at home comes I can get back to my legos. I had planed to get the bookshop today the hiddenside light house and toyshop and townhouse to finish 2 sections of my city with those builds. Also get to $50 off my next onlone order.
In my local store if I tell the manager what bricks I’m after he goes and has a look to see if he can order a box to add it to the wall. sadly there only allowed to put certain bricks on the wall so if it’s not on his list he can’t.
hi was told lego are not going to have them grey any more something to do with star wars moc's and at this time with lock down it's better to wait till i can fill my cups again
I only get lego when I get awards from school which u need about a 100 points from school that takes long gg or birthday or Chinese new year or christmas
It would be cool to have the giveaway prize as the value you desire but in Pick-A-Brick from the LEGO store since not all of us are near one. That would be a killer build with parts
went to lego store to pick a brick and they were gonna pretty much steal my money. I first couldn't touch the bricks (covid) and therefore could fill my cup they way I wanted. Second the pieces that im looking for, grey, blues, greens (slopes, flats and blocks) they didnt even have. So i just bought all the pieces I wanted online. I cant wait till covids over so I can get the pieces I want.
Buying the tile pieces in the cup; doesn’t it scratch the pieces? I like the new shiny tiles that I get in kits. Is there a way to prevent the tiles from being all scratched up?
Here in Italy there are 3 good Lego stores I've bought the new batman car last month and an entire DC minifigures box 2 weeks ago I bought also the black widow helicopter set but it is good only for the taskmaster minifigure
