I've had the pleasure of meeting this gentleman in pubs in Belfast and he was in no way invisible to me - always so happy to chat to others and bring a smile. Glad you were able to capture this lovely interaction ✌🏻 💛
WHO THE HECK GOES TO A CONCERT JUST TO TALK ALL THE WAY THROUGH IT??? The Lemon Twigs shows are SOLD OUT everywhere, and in every city there's people like me who wanted to see them during this tour and who can't because of health limitations or other circumstances. If you want to talk to your friends, go to a coffee shop or stay home and play a CD that you can replay anytime. You've got an amazing opportunity to stand and listen to incredible young talent LIVE in the same room as you - and this is the respect and degree of attention you're going to pay them? RUDE!!!! (I've heard Cardiff is a bit sketchy but I didn't expect to see this. Wales just got bumped lower on my list of places I want to visit someday.)
That's what makes the talking so offensive. There are tons of people who would've gladly taken their spot to enjoy the show. The chatty Cathies could've gone to any old bar to socialize.
Firstly, thanks so much for uploading! It looks like a great gig. I’m always staggered at how many people talk during gigs though. It’s like they store up their conversations and then use them all up when watching a band. It’s so rude to the band and the other punters! Even during Brian’s acoustic solo section. Awful.
It's so rude! I'm absolutely appalled. I wish I had the health to be able to attend a show in person and I can't believe able-bodied people are using their good health to be so rude and inconsiderate of others. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since that's how humanity lost the war against the pandemic, but it's still sad to see such excellent vocal and writing talent so rudely disregarded.
