Another dose of weekly highlights, this time featuring a great example of the "Leon player" stereotype. And some other sad moments too, I guess. Edited by: / simpingforotz Outro song: / its-all-a-dream
@@user-lh7mt7zo7l me walking into a bear trap, getting dynamite thrown at me while stuck and finished off by a swing from an axe while recovering as my first death moment
That's usually how my games go. Though I'm not nearly confident enough to say I'm ever 'godly.' I seem to be either 'ok' and occasionally do something cool or slightly more ok, or I revert to noob. In all fairness though, I tend to get tunneled a bit.
I played a game with three Leons one time. One of them was the most lore-accurate Leon you can find. he was constantly running around the map healing and helping, and distracting the killer when others were working. The other one was a btch who told the killer I'm inside the locker. And the other one tried to body block for me when Pyramid head used his power (which hits multiple people) His mistake caused the team to fall but respect for the effort.
I had similar experience accept none of them were toxic, they were all nice but a bit of a troll. Swarmed me around like baby ducks (I was Kate). One of them were hardworking on gens, one of them were godly at juking, the other one were actively healing and unhooking. Felt like watching three personality of Leon in three separate bodies😂 We're all friends since then.
Otz is the kind of person who would tell a real serial killer what he did wrong, even after being tunneled at his home (to be fair, his house it’s the fourth worst map for killers).
@@Rasp_berri 3-. Cowshed (for obvious reasons). 2-. Chuck E. Cheese (it has a couple of infinites connected). 1-. Bevahivour headquarters (the survivors on the map can undo the killers’ existence completely).
@@notOtzdarva you’ve definitely helped me learn that even the best make mistakes! And to remember it’s just a game, so you can always go onto the next match 😊
@@KidNickels22 NO! this is DEAD BY DAYLIGHT! an ESPORTS READY video game! There is no room for error, only utter optimal gameplay at all times! If YOU make a mistake, it is YOU who has to pay the price on behalf of the team that YOU let down! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
I am actually very fond of Leon players since my friend always plays him 🙂 Additionally they are often really cute so for these reasons I usually let them go 😊
i play suited-up Leon and recently, it happened that a TTV wrote "typical Leon player" in pre-game chat. they wrote something else too but i didn´t read anymore because my anxiety was already up. it wasn´t even a real insult, i´ve been called worse before, but it made me almost change my character
@@pukerat7562 i mean... it's a ttv. for people that suffer from heightened anxiety, depending on whether or not they have much of a viewer base, it might cause even more anxiety for someone to be called out in front of an audience especially when it might be due to a negative stereotype. and in that case, just switching characters to something unremarkable so you don't get called out like that in the future might be tempting! i empathize with op tbh. im also a leon main that can barely touch the queue button due to anxiety and i mostly just end up only playing with friends where i don't feel nearly as pressured 😔
dont want to be rude, but you have full control over your actions, no? if you dont wanna change, dont. if you wanna insult the guy back, do it, but its no one else's job to care about it
@@sf8262 well i didn't change in the end. since DbD's an online game with no voice chat/"face-to-face" interactions, it's more bearable to interact with strangers but when a TTV joins the lobby, i suddenly feel scrutinized lol. not saying my anxiety's anybody else's fault, like i mentioned, the streamer didn't type anything truly offensive. but to those writing far worse insults in pre-or endgame chat: maybe YOU're the ones who should lay off the game (not directed at you SF).
@@irritatingperson7882 I'm pretty sure you do fall down on some other maps. I see no point to adding these walls for killers with charge attacks, they're no like super broken and you normally don't get much use out of it other than mobility, which those killers already have
After the mid chapter announcements i decided to stop being a survivor main and started playing killer. Trickster and Legion was my first choice until i decided to main the nurse. After the horrible 3 game i finally had a 4k on RPD map. I must say you’re one of best killer main I’ve seen for the longest time otz ❤❤
I main RE4 Leon and I have to say that killers are either intimidated after one chase or want to tunnel me all game. I'm not a god but I'm not a noob either, though there are clutch moments. Still won't catch me stepping in bear traps though. 🤣
5:38 I know a Jimmy! At least he goes by Jimmy. I don't know if it's his real name or not. I did know someone named "Buddy", as in real on full first name not-a-nickname Buddy. Had it on his Social Security card and everything. Thanks for the video content Otz. Thanks for the editing SimpingForOtz.
I was in a hospital as a kid twice... once was in 4th grade they diagnosed my asthma and had to stay there for a week the other time id rather not mention on the internet thanks
Heya I know it's not related to this vid but, seeing you play darkest dungeon made me curious so I ended up getting the game (the first one because I play on console) and it's a tough but fun game, thank you for showing me the game
@@jatissimo basically Hens hopped into the locker to bait a grab from the Huntress. If executed perfectly, as the Huntress pressed spacebar to pull Hens out he rushes the exit forcing the Huntress to pull up Otz instead, allowing for a flashlight save.
OMG! I know that is not your stile - since u normally do only smart, educative videos - but can u do a stereotype video, where u tell your thoughts on any player that plays a specific character? I would LOVE that! Like... I would watch 5 hours of u ranting about the nancy stereotype that "does Gens... and you?"
Hey Otz! What do you think about the perk No where to hide? You don't seem to use it very often in the builds from your website, is it worth to pick up?
it's pretty good, especially on killers who have good gen control like freddy, but it isn't top tier so you don't see it recommended on any of the best builds
It's a make or break depending on your build/killer. For someone like Blight, it's really really good. The aura reading is centered around YOU, not the gen. So if you kick a gen, and run away, you'll see anybody within 24(?) meters of YOU and not the generator. The issue is it's just overshadowed by the likes of BBQ
for some reason it never occurred to me that otz has a real life name. otzdarva is not on his birth certificate. this is blowing my mind and i feel like it's illegal to know his real name and the cops are coming to my house any second
Baby Leon's are almost like a weird disgusting hybrid of baby Claudettes and baby Bills. They're altruistic.. but will hide and walk most the game if they hear the heartbeat or music once
00:00Here you see it: You can phone while playing surv, eat, feed your dog... but hey..."ThIs GamE iS At thE beSt StaTe it evEr wAs" and "It Is ToO KilLeR SideD"... Ridiculous!
