The best part of backpacking is always being in one place and 24 hours later somewhere completely different, then suddenly sitting somewhere, watching around for a moment and realizing how fortunate you are to be able to do that and also how many things can happen in just one day.
You helped me pass highschool finally after failing for like a year from my friend's death because of your "Study With Me" vids and now this is inspiring me to go backpacking. This makes me so happy. I want this life.

I'm liiiiving for these videos! You literally did the exact same trip as I did 2 years ago and it brings back SO many memories! I also loved Noosa so much! My friend and I had the funniest most random night there. We went to this cute restaurant with an outdoor area full of fairy lights. This guy was playing guitar at the restaurant and his friends were there as well, having some dinner, and then idk how, but these people were like 40 years old but we ended up at their table just chatting away and drinking wine. Everyone in Australia is just so open and welcoming. I love them! Gosh, how I wish I could go back in time!
Also so true about the 'not so glamorous realities of backpacking hahah'. My contact lens broke inside my eye so I had 2 separate pieces of contact lens in my eye (don't ask me how in the hell that happened lol), got them out eventually, but I poked my eye really hard so it was completely bloodshot, so I needed to see a random doctor to see if my eye was okay 😂Luckily it was!

these are a great form of escapism! I also find that when i go abroad, i prefer the villages/towns more than the big cities, they make you feel more like a native i guess ! xx

I always take throat pastilles like crazy when travelling. On the plane, bus or Taxi. When i do, i never get sick. Worth the bad breath! Favorites are Strepsils Dolo.
