Rise is the story we all know too well. It’s about how life doesn’t always go the way we think it should. It’s about things happening in our life that we never imagined. It’s about being at a crossroads and not knowing which way to turn. The song goes on to warn that during those pivotal times of re-adjustment, it’s important to understand who or what you’re allowing to influence your outlook on life.
