Great video man! I like this ES model a lot, after sitting in one it feels like you’re in a spaceship even tho it’s not even the highest the LS! Obviously some downsides like no touch screen but other than that, the car is solid💯

The only reason I got a 2015 Lexus GS 350 over an LS is that I found a GS 350 first. I really like it. It has 187k miles, but it still drives like a new car. I just made sure to inspect its properly and it had a good maintenance record. Even if it's a Lexus, you still have to get it inspected and make sure it was taken care of by the previous owner or owners. Lexus vehicles are simply amazing 👍. Good review. Subscribed

Love my 2016. Just paid it off August and I'm strongly considering a upgrade to the new refresh 2019 or 2020. But for the 2013 to 2018 the engine loves Castol Edge Full Synthetic 0W/20. Bridgestone Turanza Quiettrac tires and the ride is buttery smooth, and I have the upgraded 18 inch wheels and the ride is still super smooth on the road

New subscriber here. Really fantastic video and channel. I was wondering, what mileage is the sweet spot for the 2014/2015 year es 350? I see 20-30k mileage ones going for ~$30,000, would that be high?

My gripes: • I have a 2015 and weigh 155 pounds. The driver seat back is hard, not cushy like I expected. • Infotainment/navigation is slow and annoying, including the robotic voice of the A.I. which responds to commands. Lexus navigation map hasn't been updated since 2018, it's now cloud based, so navigation is literally useless. Plus, it costs $250 to update to the 2018 map. • Crazily, there is no A/C button. You have to make 3 or 4 moves with the joystick to turn it on or off. • AM sounds like a transistor radio. It sounds old-fashioned, weak, and far away, even though they're local stations. AM in my basic 2004 and 2014 vehicles sound clear like FM stations, but not the ES for some reason. • Post 2015 model steering wheels look like a nice improvement on button placement vs the 2015. 2015 toggles are diagonal from one another, so I need to look down to ensure I'm manipulating the correct buttons. • I expected noticeable wind and road noise reduction from my other vehicles, but I don't. Didn’t they facelift it for 2017 year? I had a 17 and now I have a 21… let me tell you,if you think the previous ES models were great bang for your buck the new gen takes it a step higher and I don’t even got the facelift nor the F sport which is another plus for the ES line. The 300 ponies livens up the car and it handles much better then the 17 did. It got shift paddles behind the steering wheel even on the base model,great seats and seat design on the base and LC seats if you get the F sport but you get LC mirrors on base model. Also now thank god fully adaptive cruise control that doesn’t turn off below 30 mph like the previous gen… the new one is so good with cruise control and much better as lane keeping ability but still atrocious compared to other cars. The new ES does have a higher msrp,mine was $45k almost with no navigation while 17 was about 41-42k with navigation. I had the heated stearing wheel on the 17 but with the wood options the only heat was on the sides of wheel and you can barely feel it because I usually drive gripping at 12 o’clock on the top wood part. Also the new ES models I think no longer come with wood steering wheels or maybe it’s an option.

It's a beautiful and reliable car but it is front wheel drive. If you enjoy a rear wheel drive more Then I would recommend getting a used Gs 350

I understand that it is extremely expensive to repair an oil leak from the timing chain cover on this generation of Lexus/Toyota V6 engines. Can you comment?

So right now I have a 2004 LS430 at 130k miles, and I'm looking to potentially swap it for a 2013 ES350 that's at 45k miles I found for $12K it had frame damage in the front, but was completely repaired. Would this change be worth it? Both are pretty much the base models of their respective models.

What mileage does it start needing lots of repairs?

I have 2012 avalon limited with pretty much same features with a touch screen.They call it a poor man`s lexus .

This is a good sedan, I also think Nissan Maxima & Ford Taurus are good luxury sedans too, especially if you can find one with massage seats.

Best deal in the market for used sedan. The used ES350 is slightly more expensive than Honda civic, Toyota Camry but with much equipment and reliability!
