Bought it 2 months ago. Just a week in, the rear right speaker stopped pairing. Lg came back with a new rear spear but even that didnt connect. So they took the entire set for service refering to an issue on the soundbar. Within a day they came back saying the issue was resolved. But the it still would not connect. Now LG says this is the first time they've come across an issue as such on the product. Now im home with no rear speaker searching youtube for an answer
Thanks for posting a vid.......But theres one thing that people have been waiting for that you haven't done yet. Comparison between JBL PARTYBOX 1000 & JBL PARTYBOX ULTIMATE
does this soundbar have a startup delay when being used with a lg tv? Im having that same issue with my Nakamichi earc soundbar and I'm wondering if I should upgrade to an lg sound bar to fix this. please let me know if you encounter this sound delay before sound starts.
LG has some of the worst sound quality in their soundbars, Sonos is much better even if the app is bad and features are still missing. I prefer my 2018 Samsung soundbar (which doesn't sound nearly as good as Sonos, but it has the 4 upfiring speakers that make games and movies a lot better), but I'd honestly take my parent's Sony 5.1 soundbar over any LG soundbar. If you're looking for Atmos sound and can't get a full AVR, Samsung's flagships (N950, Q90r, Q990C or Q990D) and the newest Sony A9000 (though this one is much higher in price for the full setup since they separated the bar with the sub and rears, but the bar itself has really good bass to begin with) are my go to. I found a slightly bent but fully functional Samsung Q90R soundbar for about $300 on eBay free of shipping and I haven't regretted it yet for my small room, but even if I were to go put this in the living room, it'd be more than good enough with the heights, but still nothing compared to a good AVR system.
