Several years ago, I had to buy the library a new copy of a new release book. My dog chewed on the corner of the borrowed book, and I had to pay to replace it. I was so angry because it was so expensive. I swore I would never borrow again but I got over it. Now I just use Libby and Hoopla and I gave in and purchased an e-reader. I do like it because my eyesight is failing, and I can make the font bigger. But I still buy physical books because I love them so much!

That's tough, bc the book was lost to an "act of god" or act of Dog which should be treated in the same way!! I was annoyed when I had to buy a new book, but only at myself, bc it was totally my fault! I like the idea of an e reader a lot. They are so easy to carry and bring with you places, you can highlight, or make pages you want to go back to, easy to see! Maybe one day I will use one... Anything that helps reading is OK in my book (no pun intended!).

Thanks for the tag. I do use the library! Not too often because I'm also trying to read my physical tbr down too. But that's also hard because I keep collecting books to read, haha. 😅

The struggles between reading your owned books and borrowing from the library is real! Then add in picking up books, especially from LFL... I wonder if I'll ever get my TBR down!!
