His voice was a huge part of my childhood. From his Scrooge as Mr Magoo to Gilligan's Island and all the cartoon character voices he did. His voice is still imitated today! Sincere flattery.

Yep; I was just gonna say that. A great comedy show with Joan Davis, and Jim Backus playing her husband; Judge Bradley Stevens. There are several episodes here posted on you-tube. Joan Davis was the queen of physical comedy. Every bit as good as I Love Lucy.

@@jackrobinson5974 That was my favorite role of his. He and Joan worked well together. It’s a shame the show didn’t last longer and that Joan didn’t live longer. It was also sad how two years after Joan’s death, the rest of her family died in a house fire.
