Thanks to James as always for speaking up about the dehumanizing potential of a global technocratic slave state, it takes a lot of courage. And thanks for giving him a platform to speak
I love these videos with James Tunney. He is always so well informed and insightful. An American interviewing an Irishman and people all over the world (I'm an Australian) being enhanced by it.
This was a very informative discussion...thank you gentlemen! I so enjoy hearing James Tunney share his wealth of knowledge and respect his acknowledgment of H.G. Wells productivity and "open conspiracy" while disagreeing with Wells' philosophy. It is both fascinating and terrifying to see the current world situation as a result of the adoption of Wells' and others perspective of "soulless" humans. I truly believe these discussions help to provide an avenue for people to reflect on their own beliefs in relation to spirit and soul. I believe the more we as individuals can inhabit our human soulful beingness, the more we can effect change and shift into a more soulful world. I'm so grateful to Jeffrey for creating this space for these discussions.
Thanks for the timely discussion as always, gentlemen. James's knowledge, vision and articulation is equally terrifying and inspiring. I couldn't be more appreciative to be gifted his mind in preparation for the new world order. Much love.
Very insightful and interesting conversation that is very much appreciated. I used to read HG Well's in my teens when I romanticized the Victorian era - all those beautiful dresses, hats, and decency. What a lovely looking era I thought, until I realized it was an idealization and very few got to experience that, what with slums and poverty. It was the classics like War of the World's, The Invisible Man, The Time Machine that I read over and over, but then I saw the film version of The Shape of Things to Come and stopped. I do love Herbert's writing style, but as pointed out, his views were going to be somewhat conditioned, shall we say. I really thought he had faded into the background of the past but happy that a decent speaker has things to say about Herbert's views in life. I even rode his path on my bike that he rode before he wrote War of the World's, from Woking through Richmond etc. Now as an adult, I can see what the speaker is saying clearly. I think Herbert also romanticized life, even as an adult. An idealist of sorts. You can see it almost in his face when you look back at the photos of him as a successful writer. It must have given him a sense of righteousness, as we always see in those who, when they find some attention from the public, think they must be right somehow, no matter how filtered their lens is. I didn't know he was so anti-Catholic. I have learned something by listening to this very interesting discourse. Many thanks for raising these issues, and with such honesty, that is appreciated.
You two give me the "warm fuzzies" James said two things that made me laugh a lot. "It was quite an explosive time" and "if that's how you want to butter your parsnips" 😂 I think it would be nice to see you two recording a conversation while you're out walking in nature.
this guy your sister Stuart hameroff and Jason Reza Jorjani are my favorite guests on new thinking allowed. i the original there's so many its hard to pick they had such a huge impact on my life it was such a time of expansion for me
@@mewimagine5920 I think so Jeffrey once put a video out some called a hit piece denouncing certain ideas of that people said was not kosher stead of having a discussion with him first For clarification on his position and meaning behind those ideas jorjani was hurt and started lashing out and ultimately turned a cold shoulder it was all a misunderstanding in my opinion and their egos concretized it Jeff’s ego of not wanting to be associated with those seemingly treacherous ideas led him to put out a rash video in condemnation and then jorjanis ego went into defense mode instead of having a legit convo about it only put out defensive comments and wouldn’t have a sit down convo with Jeffrey or at least thsts the way it appeared
It seems to be important to emphasize that the scientistic gambit/agenda is a choice that is made by the spirit who adopts it. In giving each individual their right to self-determination, we have to allow for the unconscious people to have their say. Whether you think in terms of the conspiracy of force or the domination of money, the spirit is there in all of us. Therefore, the transparency of consciousness needs to match the obscuration of domination and control.
It's Technocracy. The connection to the Fabian Society & the London School of Economics is very strong. Do you think that Any Rand was of the same frame?
The Wayne music version with Richard Burton was interesting...and various seventies rock stars..singiing along....I remember working in a welding shop in Dublin...Cherry orchard estate ?....listening to war of the worlds ? love the chats gentlemen ...thankyou both....
It would be helpful if people leading the thought field insisted on the difference between religion, which is often dogmatic, and spirituality, which, by definition, liberates. Thanks to Jeff and James. I am finishing James' Human Entrance to Transhumanism. Here ,James has elaborated on on of the ideas in the book- Be HIP. Human Individual Person. Love that idea. Although I am struggling with the fact that so many people highly prefer to be free from having to think for themselves. I understand the attraction to going all the way to becoming merged with the machine. How to show compassion for those people? They are the great majority of humankind.
I think it's more likely Wells was scientifically literate and able to popularize a vision that influenced the elite of his time, and maybe that influence persists.
@FrancisGo. yes, of course, an observant creative. I do think I read at one time that he worked for the government, so maybe also got some hidden info.
I see scientism as a natural outgrowth of Christianity and its adoption of a platonic world view. Particularly after the suppression of the mystical part of Christianity under the inquisition. Scientism inherited and built on that dogmatism in a natural way.
Jeff, you mention in this fascinating talk (James Tunney is a wonderful guest and thinker), your 'former' friend Jason Jorjani. I had always found your discussions with him fascinating and the fact that you had disagreements with him made for an interesting dynamic in those conversations. Has Mr. Jorjani rejected that friendship?
Thank you so much for the conversation. We are at a historic turning point. The fish zodiac is being replaced by Aquarius. A sign of individuality, independence and rebellion. Art, as a sensitive instrument, often looks to the future. In Knives Out we see the collapse of scientific technocracy.
Dead men can live there, and converse with stars Equator speaks with pole, and night with day Spirit dissolves the world's material bars A million isolations burn away The universe can live and work and plan At last made God within the mind of man.
This provides so much fodder for the science fiction novel I'm writing, thank you. Rapacious Corporatists - love it (and it goes a long way to describing my ex husband) :)
It's astounding that such a gifted sci-fi writer indulged in such hatred for Jews & the RCC. Unfortunately, the RCC continues to have its perversity exposed in the past (deep involvement w/ the inhumane treatment of native Canadian & American Indian children) & recent revelations (2,000 children molested in one Indiana parish). So, as is so often the case, great writers & thinkers are routinely a mix of dark & light. I thought it was quite big-hearted of J. Mishlove to mention Jason R. Jorjani's book as it related to the discussion of H. G. Wells. I was very saddened when I heard Jorjani & Mishlove had broken their friendly bonds, but was happy to see that the rumor that Mishlove had deleted all of Jorjani's contributions to New Thinking Allowed video collection was false. I can only hope that some sort of fence-mending between the two happens in the future.
I agree with you on just about everything. But I think you are wrong about Wells. Read "The Bulpington of Blup"....a chapter called Sense of a Presence...he describes the mystical experience to a tee...as only one who has really had it. He was a mystic who felt he had to.hide this from others.
