This video will explain a bit about what a soldier life entitles and also the other career opportunities that are within the organization as well. I hope that this video is informative to those looking to join the Jamaica Defense Force (JDF) sometime in there life as a officer or regular soldier.
This video was created in regards to a question that @Genna L A asked in the comment section. So if guys have any other questions put them in the comment section or jut stay tune to other video like these that talks about certain aspects of the being in the military

Yeah you can but you will need a written letter from your parents plus some other documents as well

Alright good so far recruiting has been put on a pause since Covid 19 but you can still apply on there website by typing JDF.....alright the pandemic is over everything should resume like usual 🙏🏾

I know it's been a while since you uploaded so you might not see this, but I'll ask nevertheless, I know that it is a requirement to not have flat feet; how serious do they take that cause it so happens that I have flat feet but I don't have symptoms (like pain or not being able to stand for long)

Well a bit different but the females still part take in the same activities that the males do so it's still ruff

How long does it takes to get call after application??

It takes a long time to get a call because it took 4 years before I got to do the test....you can do either of both you can call them and check up on your application or go a Up park Camp when they are having the test and do the test.....that's what I did still

You have to be at least 6ft tall, should not have any injuries and must be able to complete a physical test

Well you can check it out on there website but you must be 18 or older, at 6ft tall, must not be flat footed, must not have any life threatening illnesses and should be a bit fit
