Aayla Secura is my favorite character from Star Wars, her story is so great, and I love her interaction with Master Quilan. I would love if there were more comics of her on adventures with Quilan back when she was a Padawan. Of course, comics from the EU.
Saw your lore council interview that was great. And I literally just finished the Republic comics. Her death in Ep 3 now hits harder now that I've read everything with her.
It's a damn shame she died in the ROTS movie, would've been nice to see her survive into the early years of the Imperial period to see where her story could go from there.
Ayala secura is one of my favorite Jedi and after reading more of the comics about her and the Star crops, them enacting order 66 on her hits just as hard as it does for anakin turning into Vader. Seeing her soldiers and friends turn on her was a rough one
Thank you for making this. As a writing exercise, I’m putting together a small side story about Aayla, because I feel like she is a criminally underrated character in the Star Wars canon (she should have been HUGE in The Clone Wars). It’s great to have an organized blow-by-blow of her life, in order to reference actual events, and to further inform the characterization.
Aayla Secura was my favorite Jedi in the prequel movie and one I have my first Star Wars crush on. She had quite an interesting yet dark backstory with Quinlan Voss as well as a relationship that was close to developing with Kit Fisto; truly beautiful Jedi that made it all the more heartbreaking during Order66. ( at least when I look into her troops thoughts they knew shooting her down with a quick death, instead of being stranded in a harsh jungle planet or being tortured into an Inquisitor.)
After being suprised to learn that there was a clone wars before 'The Clone Wars', im interested in engaging with it more. Is there a good place to start?
@@pilotamurorei And even if I do, why do you care so much? I get that TCW does overshadow the EU, but that doesn't prevent you from enjoying those stories. They're still there. TCW brought a ton of new fans into Star Wars, a lot of whom went on to check out EU stories, myself included. Telling people that a story they enjoy isn't canon isn't going to make them want to check out other stories, it'll only alienate them.
Sadly she did not die by the first blaster bolt. She dies slowly and painfully. trying to abosrb each hit with the force. sadly after the rapid fire came. she dies calling out to yoda in the force.... yoda feels so many do this.. all at once.. as a warning to their master
Hey, @Manda-LORE, may I make a suggestion for a future transmission? How about the Y-wing fighter, give us both its true origin and history. I played Rogue Squadron II recently and I love the bomber mission so much I wanted everyone to know the truth about this spacecraft.
