I was not sure which video to post this on, so I thought this would fit well enough. Especially since there are not too many comments yet. I really love your videos and those of your alter ego THG. I think you don't get the recognition you deserve for the hard work that you do! So please take your vacations whenever possible, so everyone can enjoy your content for as long as possible. If you need more time just so that you don´t lose your joy, please always take it!! As a hockey/Islanders fan from Germany it is not possible for me to watch the games of my favorite team(s) live and the highlights usually don´t do the games justice. And even if basically the whole league is playing, you/THG still manages to talk about the most relevant details of every game in his reviews. I am very grateful for your hard work, so enjoy your vacation and if you are ever in Europe, if possible I would love a meetup and to buy you a beer.

I'm 38 and I don't remember anything from ages 2 to 5. Don't know how you do it. My kids are 6 and 9 and I'm starting to wonder the things they'll remember and forget.

It sounds kind of funny, but really feels like I've grown with you in a sense, Shan. I began watching you when I was 17, right before I graduated high school in 2017. There aren't too many days I've gone without your videos since then. I've worked, gone to college, moved to three different provinces in three years, changed paths a few too many times, and now I'm engaged to my high school sweet heart and we are having a son at the end of March. I can't believe how much life has changed. Thank you for being a constant. I hope you realize what a positive impact you make on people. You're a great person, husband and father. I hope you and Yvonne have an amazing trip. Take care

I loved it man, keep em coming, been watching the other channel consistently a few months ago now, and honestly I find the absolute majority of your opinions on all things hockey the most level headed and reasonable and respectful in the group of hockey RU-vidrs I watch. And personally on of my favourites. I recently have stumble upon this channel which I am enjoying so far. Keep up the great work man 😁

Shannon, I usually follow you on your hockey channel which is very informative and entertaining. But, I'm starting to get into this Entertainment channel you have and would love to hear some life stories of yours. I was born in 62' and am probably your oldest subscriber, or at least one of the oldest and like to hear what life was like growing up in Canada. By the way, I was out in Orange County in November and did go to a Ducks game. It was the game after their winning streak ended by the Penguins. They lost the night I was their 6-3 to the Flyers. I love Orange county and had a great time at the game. I parked near the stadium at a Mexican restaurant for free. I forget the name, but they have happy hour before every Ducks game and I met a few Ducks fans (as well as Philly fans). You will love it there, especially the warm weather. Have fun, Shannon.

Obviously, you left Gander quite some time before, but, there are some amazing stories about how the people of Gander opened their hearts and homes to complete strangers, during 9/11. Come From Away is one of many.

Born in 1970, I remember my father also had a Chevy Impala in the 1970s. After looking at pictures online, I think it was a model between 1971 and 1976. I must be one of the few guys my age and older who does not love the cars from that era. I see all the negatives--gas-guzzling, useless rear-wheel drive in the snow, too big to drive and park easily, ugly, not air-conditioned, uncomfortable seats and seatbelts, always needing repairs, etc. I did enjoy riding in the Buick and Cadillac that my wealthy grandparents owned. I was terrified by the TV program "Land of the Lost." Of course, I still wanted to watch it.

My grandfather (Moms dad) is the reason I like Hockey, he's the reason as well that I am a Type 2 Diabetic, and its her mom that gives me Ehlers Danlos syndreome... Aside from my looks I get very little from my dad. hahahaha Nice to hear what makes one of the nicest people on the internet who he is.

My moms dad had many different cars and when he passed on my mom had her pick of what he had left which came down to a choice of 1967 VW Beetle, or 1956 Dodge Power Wagon Tow Truck emblazoned with "Al. Dearing Ltd." on the side. She took the Tow truck and my aunt got the Beetle, Both have since passed into the hands of collectors who will get more use of them than either my mom or aunt ever could have.

Speaking of Cold Lake I lived in tin town from 4-7 yrs old. I remember waking up pretty much every week-day to CF 104's taking off. My sister did pretty much her whole 20 years there and my nephews still live in Cold Lake. I recall digging a snow cave right next to the front step where it was quite warm compared to being above the snow in the elements.
