This man is the most underrated character ever. He's literally (sorta) in the title of the series, and they just kind of forgot about him, all they really remember is the dragon balls, not this guy
When younger I always thought Shenron was the most powerful; a divine creature. One of the most important and useful characters in Dragon Ball history.

Shenron is by far one of the most underrated characters in the Dragon Ball! ❤ I'm sure Shenron is tired of having to grant wishes for so long. 😅 But since Goku and his friends have saved the world so I think he secretly enjoys seeing the Z fighters, Goku in particular since if I recall Goku's the ONLY character in the Dragon Ball series to use the wishes provided by the dragon balls to use the wishes on others. 😊
@@dususbakahyahskahwbwm9113 Well Oolong just spat it out to prevent Pilaf’s wish. Overall, Shenron’s time wasn’t wasted and he was respected by most protagonists. I’m super everyone is so used to him and casual about it that he doesn’t quite get the same recognition and respect as before.
Shenron in a nutshell: a genie but is green, also a dragon and can be asked a wish as much as possible but you need to look for freaking balls around the world

With Porunga the Namakian Dragon, he doesn’t have a limit as to how many times, he can bring back a person so long as they didn’t die of natural causes. But the drawback with him is he can only bring back one person at a time, and not a large group of people like Shenron. I think they counter each other perfectly.
2:18 ever since that point shenron has increased their escape speed to near light speed. As iv never seen any one lay a hand on a dragon ball after the wishes were made. 2:28 ever since that moment shenron dips the moment the last wish is granted. I never knew the dog wished himself to be king. Mind blown. Makes perfect sense despite how wrong it is to say that. Did some one else wish it to have intelligence in a previous wish.
He wasn’t forgotten by me for very long when I created a story centred around him and Zamasu and than someone today wrote a guardian of Earth story as well. But yeah too bad we don’t have any real Shenron stories out there, we have thousands of stories of literally everyone else. My reply was based on some comments.
3:30 that makes me wonder if the wishes are based on the capabilities of the namek acting as guardian of earth. Is that why kami was so much weaker than king piccolo even before his youth wish who is his twin. Kami may look like he doesn't do much. Perhaps all of his power goes into the dragons balls which grant wishes but importantly act like amplifiers so shenron is far more powerful than the source. During the Saga's where the dragon balls were used a lot. Was kami dying faster? Notice when dende takes over as guardian the dragon gains another 2 wishes and can do insane stuff. He is young. Perhaps it's based on life force.
Yeah when I first saw in schooneron I thought he was the most strongest character in the whole series until super came out with the Super Dragon Balls or when evil Piccolo destroyed Shenron I was very shocked
So why couldn’t Dende ask the dragon for the power to restore people to life? Since he was a healer already and we didn’t talk about Kami powers very much?
Isn't there a bonus story in the Super Manga about how the "future timeline" pilaf gang got turned into infants? Presumably something similar also occurred in the "main timeline".
Technically DBGT a hero’s legacy was a movie that was supposed to follow up with the events of the baby saga only. So in This story Goku hadn’t left with Shenron and presumably stayed on earth and died of old age.
