The Life & Tragic Death Of BOB WELCH 

I met Bob in Phoenix, around 1989-1990. Opened for him at the Mason Jar, and got to jam with him at a party there as well. He was a super nice guy, and was still singing and playing great. RIP

The Welch era of FM was the best...

I loved Bob's French Kiss Album. Many great songs that I still listen to today. I have been a fan of his since 1977 when that album came out. I was also shocked when I heard the news that he had taken his own life. When the news came out I also found out that I lived about 25 miles from where he lived in Tennessee. I had no idea he was here. I would have tried to make contact with him before his death if I would have known he lived in Antioch Tn. He was a great person from what I understand but leading up to his death he started suffering from depression because of his history of back problems. So sad. RIP Bob !!!

What a singer writer &great musician. Bob was the best. Put him in hall of fame

He was not included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame although everyone else in the various Mac incarnations were. Politics.

The other band members screwed bob out of his rightful place in the rock n roll hall of fame and then sing praises of him AFTER his suicide?!!! What a pack of Cee u Next tuesdays'!

Mystery To Me,Penguin are a couple of the best Lp F M ever did Future Game, Bare Trees are great too. I saw three tours F.M. Open for everyone Ten Years After, Deep Purple. Every show I went to in 71-73 F.M. Was a opening band They must have toured for three years without a break I’m sorry about Bob he was a great songwriter
