Wow. I havent heard "Cool night" in decades! I didn't know Paul wrote and performed that and Sweet Life! So sad he died so young. Im going to listen to both of those right now. I also love, " Im Not In Love" by 10cc.

Aww Mr. Paul Davis was a very successful singer and song writer. We lost a good one here , so so sad he left us a day after he turned 60. !!! Never heard if he had any relatives left. RIP Mr. Davis you are deeply missed.

My late husband would have been 62 this past Monday (the 1st of April), he sadly 😭passed away in May of 2023 from Cancer. So yes, I do agree with you, 60 yrs old is far too young to die (or so it just feels that way).

@play4u67 I'm sorry your husband has passed. Time has a way of surprising us. My wife had 5 strokes and a heart attack at 58 two weeks ago she had to move into a home I nursed her daily for four years. I hope you have found your new normal. Cheers from British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦

@@davestark2015 Thank You, Dave. I'm sorry to hear such sad news of your wife's health, I'll keep her and you both, in my prayers!! I'm still working on the "New Normal" part of my life, haven't found it yet, but I hope I do soon because this limbo is a really hard place to be. You don't feel as though you fit in with your married friends and yet you don't feel that you fit in with your single friends either. But I'm trying to deal with it minute by minute. It'll get better (so I'm told, still waiting for that part to happen), I hope those who've told me this are right and it happens for me soon. But please know that I'm thinking of and praying for you and your wife, always my new friend ♥ Cheers to you also from West Virginia USA.

You should spoken about his wonderful bride Mary , to whom he was married ,at the time of his death ! She still mourns him, as do we all , she has or had a Facebook book page , He was the greatest songwriter of our 70’s youth with Poco, thank you for the great songs Paul Davis❤️🙏prayers to his beloved Mary🙏

He stayed at a hotel I worked for The Hilton Inn Central in Nashville.I was cleaning the Manager,s Office and front desk and that when I saw him, Paul Davis, and I had just bought a recording of his.That was in Nashville TN .RIP Paul.
